Wow..these are all wonderful!!! From Stargazser....a pink card with a fiskared edge on the bottom. There is a nice little corner image in the upper corners, stamped in purple. The card has 5 layers too!!! One layer is lace paper, then wallpaper (?), then purple cs, then a stamped square with an allover floral image..then a purple floral square mounted above all the other layers. This is very pretty..thanks Stargazser!! From Phan...What a cute card...this is a white glossy card with a square of black/white polka dot paper in the upper section. On top of that is a piece of paper with animal prints all over it..then there is a stamped spotted dog mounted above the papers, with 3 little paw prints stamped in the lower right corner. Inside says "Stay, Woof, Sit, Bow Wow"..and there is a little dog food bowl and a bone. I really like the black and white of the card..very cool!! Thank you! From Lynda Barnwell...I am laughing at myself over this card. The card is a gorgeous lilac marble (where did you get that Lynda??)...over this is a piece of darker purple cs..then a stamped frame. The image has flowers all over it, and it has been colored in beautifully in pinks and greens. Ok...why I was laughing now...Lynda put a magazine pic of 2 people in the frame as an example..and I thought it was a real pic!!! I said "Wow..that is a nice looking couple!"..then I moved the card, and it fell out...LOL Thanks Lynda..this card is beautiful. From Debra Nielsen...a red card with a layer of gold glossy paper on the front. On top of the gold is a square of red/gold paper...maybe gift wrap? On top of this is a red square with gold stamped holly. Under the image is "Celebrate the Season", and inside says "Joy". I really like getting Christmas cards at other times of the year...gives me great ideas. Thanks much for the pretty card Debra. From Eileen deMars...I knew this card was from Eileen before I looked at the name!!!! You have a very distinct style Eileen..and I love it!! Eileen used a square of gold color confetti paper..cut into a square with decorative scissors. She then used a piece of rust corrugated paper, then a piece of dk. brown corrugated paper. She added metallic highlights to both pieces of the corrugated paper. On top of the corrugated paper is the image of the 2 babies...she stamped this on vellum in a brownish (I think brown) color ink..then she added some dots and dashes around the outside with a gold pen. The pieces are all attached with a nice gold Midori bow. VERY nice Eileen..thanks!!! Last, but definitely not least...From Linda Yamakido...This card is awesome!! Linda used a large navy blue card..then she layered a piece of white paper with blue flecks in it..then on top of this is a piece of glossy white paper with a stamped image of 2 horses. I have never seen this stamp before..but I NEED it now!! Linda then added a navy blue bow to the upper left portion of the card. This card is so nice Linda..thanks much!! Thanks to all for the great ideas..and thanks to Debra for hosting! Hi Sniffles, Is this a self portrait? Are you really a cigarette smoking, hat wearing, pussy cat? If so this card is a portrait of sniffles (laminated?) inside an oval frame that was embossed in gold and colored pink and blue. Sniffles stamped pretty pink and blue flowers all around the frame. Inside the card it says "Just because I don't know what I'm talking about doesn't mean I'm going to shut up." This had me rolling! Sniffles also include two very beautiful angel UM. Well Sniffles you are one very talented kitty. I think Ant Judy should sign you up for Late Night with David Letterman's Stupid pet Tricks. (no offense meant, this is just what it is called. We all know that you are a brilliant kitty) Thank you and say Hi to Ant Judy for me. Hello everyone, Someone (can't remember who..sorry) sent me some advice on finding cardstock. They said to check with the local printing companies and see what they would sale their paper for. Well, I did today. I can get.... The first one only sales it by the ream... 60 lbs White matte finish 500 sheets ream for $15 60 lbs Colors matte finish 500 sheets ream for $20 This one sales it by the sheet.... 60 lbs Colors matte finish .05 per sheet 80 lbs Colors matte finish .10 per sheet They also sale by the ream, but not sure on those prices. I'm thinking that .05 per sheet is a pretty good price, considering it's close by, and I can go pick out my own colors and get the exact amount of sheets I want. But since I'm new at this I don't know. Is this a good deal?
