I work for a major retail co., well known for customer service and product...we are inundated with interested vendors wanting us to carry their product. When we get a product sample, we acknoweldge that and thank the vendor for their efforts. That's the least they could have done...not unreasonable to have that expectation I should think. I had an experience of sending off a letter to a bird magazine...along with pictures (I was feeding a hummer from my hand :>) Didn't care if they published it or not. I never received any kind of acknowledgement...and so I say from experience, part of building loyalty with customers begins with treating every encounter as though it's meaningful! Good luck Kathie! Subject: RS: TAN: Children in inappropirate places Lucky your secretary! I had to just grin and bear it when parents brought there kids in...every see a three year old sit through an hour-long estate planning/will signing? Not a pretty sight. And some of them were little terrors. Two little boys come to mind...their parents & parents' friends (including one of my attorneys) called the "the velociraptors"!!!! I was finally able to tell the attorneys that I couldn't work and babysit at the same time, so he called his own secretary over to babysit...anything for the client grrrrrrr. But yes, parent who brought their children in for divorce/custody meetings were the absolute worst. Those poor kids were so traumatized! I usually transferred the phones to someone else and took them downstairs to the coffee shoppe for an ice cream...no color books in our office. I did dig out a set of colored highlighters though. They drew there own pictures. Phew...I guess that was some pent up hostility waiting to be released. I feel better now. Laura A. a.k.a. Use your scissors or exacto knife and carefully cut out all the large smooth spaces of the rubber. Now there is nothing left to smudge. Remount it on the wood. If you don't want to take it off the wood, you can carefully cut out the large spaces with your exacto knive while it is still mounted. To: RubbrKitty@aol.com (RubbrKitty) CC: Rubberstampers@crafts.dm.net, Giggles57@juno.com Well, my glitter cards in progress had a horrible accident tonight...not only did they look awful (and I was going to throw them away and start over anyway), but then I had a fan going and the acetate just lifted and landed...glitter side down of course...so I'm going to have to start a new batch, so Giggles & RubbrKitty...don't hold your breath...this was my last night for stamping until next Wednesday. Giggles, did you notice I'm giving up my chance at becoming a minor glitter deity to send you a card despite the express command of the Glitter Goddess??? That oughta be worth some PB fudge doncha think? (shameless plug for fudge, I know). Laura's stamping tip: Turn off fans, blowers and other things that move high volumes of air when glittering or working with damp adhesives. Laura A. a.k.a.
