Two small cowboys duel at the base of the mesa. From Robin Cramer (our hostess): A clever teepee-shaped folded card with a Paula Best Indian cat inside. From Michelle Oakley: Cowboy boot spilling roses mounted on tan torn paper and then to red card stock. Very feminine. From Jaimee Givens: Nicely designed card in red, black and gray probably my favorite color scheme. Jaimee stamped a famous quote by Chief Seattle accented with his picture and a cave painting. Just a touch of red set this card off nicely. Hey, I'm beginning to feel like an art critic or the society editor describing a fashion show. Nice cards. Then something fell out of the Bible and he picked it up and looked at it closely. It was an old leaf from a tree that had been pressed in between the pages. "Momma, look what I found," the boy called out. "What have you got there?" his mother asked. With astonishment in the young boy's voice he answered: "It's Adam's suit!" _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. Why does there need to be an UNofficial Snail List? And where did you get the info that it has been five months since the Official list was updated? My records indicate that it was updated and sent to everyone on it on January 31, 1998. .... only a little over 2 1/2 months *not* five months. It's available by request to anyone who is on it. The person doing this never gave notice that they weren't continuing. A word of caution: If you get an UNofficial Snail Mail list going ... you'll end up with more mistakes ... like just happened. If it ain't broke ... don't fix it. A Snail List **in particular** is best left in the hands of one person, and I happen to think Cindy Piet is doing a great job. Do you need a project to work on for the list? Maybe the Snail List should be left to the person who is doing that, and you could find another project? If you're open to suggestions ... just ask the list, I'm sure you'll get good feedback. Ant Judy H. >>I would like to put together an UNofficial Snail List. I have thought about this for several months. Doing the RAK list, I get so many requests for a snail list. The original snail list has not been updated in nearly 5 months. << This message was from "Judy Hornbrook" - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. It makes such good sense I'm embarassed that I couldn't think of it myself. I have often just assumed that smudges were the result of poor stamping techniques on my part and were something I just needed to struggle with to become adequate. This is a SUPER idea...thanks CatStamPurr!! I am totally impressed.
