I was very excited to get these since I'm relatively new and this was the first swap that I participated in. Thanks Raine, for hostessing this and for the cute little stuffed heart. Here's the descriptions of the cards that I received: Stampin Max Silver embossed fairy layered onto white cardstock which was embellished with clouds and shooting stars. I really like your "Handmade" stamp which looks like "Hallmark" Terese LaPree Fairy Bunny layered onto pink mulberry paper which is then layered onto what looks like yellow parchment cardstock. There's also some glitter and small star confetti glued on. Inside is stamped with 3 hearts and a saying. A really cute card and it came complete with a lavender wallpaper envelope Carol Monk A wallpaper card layered w/vellum and more wallpaper layers. Topped w/fairy stamp from PSX in green. Embellished w/some glitter. Inside stamped w/angel from Hero Arts and a saying Marsha Braymen Fairy stamp from Stamp Francisco stamped in black and colored in. Gliter on wings. This is done on blue marbled cardstock, which is then layered onto a solid blue cardstock. Poem printed on vellum, "The Road to Fairyland" by Ernest Thompson Seton. Fairy charm glued on also. This would look really nice framed and displayed on a desk. Julie Sidebottom used what I think is yellow parchment paper. The stamp that she used looks like a fairy in front of the moon. There are bunches of leafy stems by her feet. 3/4 of it is stamped and embossed w/gold, the bottom 1/4 is stamped and embossed in green. The background looks like it was very lightly water colored. Gold embossed dots are scattered throughout. Inside is stamped "Follow Your Dreams" in blue. Raine also enclosed a card that is stamped I will grant you 3 wishes. Bubbles follow a fairy on the way up I really enjoyed all of the cards that I received. Thanks everyone. Kathy Ann P. S. Sorry if this is too long. If there's anyone here who would like to make a run over to my house here in Aurora (near Buckley and Mississippi) I'd be happy for you to have it. I'm totally swamped and tied down here all day to- day and tomorrow, otherwise, I'd offer to bring it to you. Anyway, first one to respond that they want it gets it, okey dokey? :o) Robin This message was from MaVinci2 - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. I received all 6 of the Adirondak Rainbow Pads yesterday from Shaunna (Queen LaFetti) at Custom Creations. Shaunna, I can't wait to play with these new pads - in fact one of my non-stamping friends surprised me the other day with a beautiful butterfly stamp that will be perfect for testing out my new colors! It was uncomfortable and my use was limited, but I was still able to drive. Stamping was not an option while the sutures were in. I too waited until I couldn't put it off and by then the nerve damage was extensive. I went for Physical Therapy to regain some use as the surgery only shifted the pain to a new location. I still have pain in my palms and wrists when I do any repetative motion and I have no grip. It ended my 35 yr career as a dental hygienist. Not all people have problems from what I heard but with my occupation and waiting like I did the surgery wasn't really helpful to me. My cousin regained all her strength and use when she had it done. So it depends on the circumstances I guess. Good luck with yours.
