Wow! I definetly think I am cursed.. First my SSS. She never kept her obligations and yet I still see her online posting and so forth. No apology no message no explaination whatsoever. Except one tiny little note "I am sorry I am such a terrible SSS". Well I have to agree!! Then my tea for two set. I KNOW the hostess have recieved them because they were described several times. Not only did the hostess get 6 but she got 12 cards!!!! I know at least one other person didnt get her swap either. I continue to see this hostess post on the list and host other swaps. I mailed a check July 5th for a catalog it is now 29th. 24 days. Plenty of time to get the catalog I ordered. Yes she SAID she had one and would set it aside for me so its not like she had to order it for me. I e-mailed her and she has yet to respond. And NOW the Bad Hair Swap. For this swap I too send 10 instead of the usual 5 because I wanted to see as many cards as possible. When I asked about it on the list I was told to RELAX. Well people were describing them on Friday and this is Tuesday still nothing... My mail came and went still no swap package. Now I DO understand that mail get lost or stranded or whatever. I did not mention two or three other swaps that are probably lost. But I have decided to drop out of each and every swaps host by the same hostesses. I hope you people realize the expenses and the money I lost. The packages, the sstamps, cards (and each cards have thier own envelops and each cards aand matching envlops are in clear envelops), in the beginning I would include equal amount stamps but then later on I use 3.00 priority stamp to the hostess and include the same., cost of surprise presents and so forth. Yes I am mighty pissed. I dont want to give up because I DO have fun. I just feel that something should be done about this.. So it doesnt happen again. I think I should have the right to ask if anyone has expierenced similiar problems with the hostesses of swaps I am still signed up with. For example.. Laurel Burch Swap. Curtis Uyeda. (and one other swap that i KNOW i wont have problem with.) Thank you for letting me air this.. Yesterday I didn't have a chance to post, but I got two orders from two vendors I've never ordered from--Both came in beyond record time!! I recieved sticker paper and denim cardstock from Jing Mark (Mark and Associates)--Thanks for the extra cardstock!! I also got the Stardust cardstock from Fran Robertshaw--The Frantic Stamper along with a nice (stamped) note/insert! I would recommend both of these companies--Great service, good communication and wonderful products at good prices. Thanks!! I'm starting to carve some more stamps and can't wait to get one of those cool lino tools... I talk way too much, but I try to keep sorta quiet on the list... we'll see how long THAT lasts!
