Thank you for your support and encouragement...It has been a wonderful help to me. My DH and I are as white as paste from worry and sleep loss. But I think that the worst is over.....I pray so... Ben played on the computer this morning for a while, and he read, and now he is resting....I am going to go visit with him...He is a real trooper...He is even taking liquids on his own without me having to guard dog him into it. There has been a horrific virus going around this area, and one boy had it for over a month....so I am confident that Ben is just having a heck of a time dealing with the virus....He has never been sick. Collins Convention Hi all, With just over two weeks until the Ft. Collins convention, I thought I'd get a feel for who will be attending and start organizing an after convention get-together dinner somewhere. The weekend of the convention is also the weekend of New West Fest which is a big arts/music/food festival held annually. This may be a problem when trying to get reservations for dinner in old town so I thought I'd start early. Also, not to fear, the Lincoln Center, where the convention will be held, was unaffected by the flood. On the other hand, CSU, where I am currently finishing my Ph.D. degree, is unbelievably damaged, but that's another story. So, if you are interested in meeting at the convention and going to dinner after- let me know. I'll send some more info about vendors, etc. in another post. If you have any questions about the area or the convention, let me know and I'll do my best in answering. They are beautiful. Now I know what vellum is and how pretty it makes a card. All of your cards were wonderful. I am going to try to send out the Newbie Sampler starting Monday. I have about 20 samples for each one. I have made 3 of them. I was also going to put some patterns and templates to copy. Thanks a million for the cards. PS I also received my grab bag of trim. I haven't had time to look through it yet, but it looks wonderful. I'll let you know what all is in it later.
