Monday I had a little bit of bleeding and we have freaked out!! I went to the doctor's who said things were fine but with our history of losing babies we have been extra careful and I have not gotten out of bed. When we got home Saturday there were all kinds of cards and payments in the mail. Thanks so much!! We got the coolest card from Tammy A. She sent us a card that she had made with our stamps. This was way too cool!! She put a border around it with cow spots then layered some paper and did the moochas grassious with the cow in the grass. It was sooooo cool. I am not describing it as well as I would like as Mark took it to scan to put up on our page so look for it there. Also Barbara Simpson sent us a really neat card. I am not sure how she did the back ground, I would like to know, I think maybe with different colored inks and used a brayer? Then she stamped these two cats that are cut, Then she stamped the same cats and cut them out and did a 3-D look that is about 1/4" off the other cats, really cool effect. Please forgive me if there were more, Mark took all of them so you can see them on our web page. This list has been so sweet, I am sorry I don't write much these days, I am not suppose to sit up much so I only do it occasionally, 4 more months and I will be able to at least do it between naps.:) Jodi Mark or Jodi Hansen HansenArt Rubber Stamps http://www.burgoyne.com/pages/hansnart hansnart@burgoyne.com This message was from "mark or jodi hansen" - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. I am sorry for not posting earlier, my doctor gave me the OK to go stay at my mom's cabin. I thought the change of scenery would be great but it was kinda boring. I had to stay on bedrest while everyone went on the 4 wheelers and swimming.:( Oh well next year I will hopefully have a bouncing baby I can take swimming. Then on Monday, I had some bleeding that freaked me out and the doctor said it looked ok but I have not gotten out of bed so I haven't done my e-mail. A flat is a sheet of rubber about 4 1/2 X 6 1/2 that has different images you can cut out. We generally have about 8-12 images on a sheet depending on how big the images are. Most have about 10. We have not sold the foam yet however are in the makings of doing so. We personally have been sold on HALOS and so that is what we have suggested, no we don't sell it, we just have been impressed. If you would only like it with foam let us know as we are planning to get some in the near future and we could put you on our list of people who are waiting. If you have any questions please e-mail me and I will try and get back to you a lot sooner, if no more bleeding happens. I've had top-notch, courteous, efficient service from the vendors I've dealt with (list below) .... and I do not think any vendor with poor business practices or bad scruples should be able to ride along on the coat tails of those vendors who do a great job. Some really great vendors, that I'll be happy to order from again and again: Non Sequitur - cannedy@edge.net Sheryl Porter / Halos sporter@utah-inter.net Jim Stephans jimstamper@aol.com Ruthann Gigliotti - ruthann@key-net.net Bonnie Linhart / Lass Creations bonniel@cdsnet.net Wenonah Cohen - rubberdz@aol.com Ellen Gordon / Evolving Images evo@pobox.com Michelle Bloy / Gramma's Attic gmaatic@wolfenet.com Laura Johnson VMCB84A@prodigy.com Dawn / Golden Sunrise sunrise@wolfenet.com Wendy B / Stampin Pad wstampin@3-cities.com Have not ordered from Jutta, but have had quick responses to online inquires: Jutta Hood jutta@wolfenet.com To these vendors ... I say a big "Thank You!!" .. up here in the wilds of northern New Brunswick, Canada, I'm 300 miles from the only stamp store in all of eastern Canada ... so online vendors are really a stamping life line to me!! Have a great day, everyone. Ant Judy H. - -------------------snip------------------ >.This is so sad!!! I tell ya...people can be such dolts some time!! I have never ordered from any of the vendors on the list, so I can't make any comments about any of them...but, I can guarantee that if I had an issue with a vendor, I would address them in private and try to get it solved. Lisa has been very nice and helpful when I have had questions about the items she carries. I hope Lisa changes her mind and stays on the list...I am sure there are PLENTY of people who enjoy having her around!! Sometimes if you don't and just lay your I've been saving those strange little 3legged campstools for leprechauns that come in the pizza box.. you know those things I'm talking about? those little plastic things that keep the top of the box from becoming one with the top of the pizza? I'm sure they have a name, but we've never been formally introduced, so I dunno what it is.. anyway, I've been saving those, thinkin' maybe they would be good things for sitting things on to dribble this stuff on.. not that I have any of this stuff to dribble, but I'm callin' myself plannin' ahead.. anno This message was from "anno" - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. I like to use Fabrico pads because they give such a great sharp impression. Then carefully paint in the image only where you want to color with Perfect Paper Adhesive. Use a small brush and stay within the image so that you don't discolor the rest of your paper. Although the Perfect Paper dries clear it will give your paper a sheen since it is a sizing. Before continuing make sure the area you painted in with Perfect Paper is dry. You can use a heat gun. Next use Marvys, Tombos or Tria markers to color in your image. My personal favorites are the Trias for this technique but the others work fine too. Then end result is a beautiful stained glass like effect, I impressed myself! ( I don't brag much so I thought I'd throw that in!). Connie Erndt Golden Apple Enterprises Inc. Canada (Yes, I sell Perfect Paper in Canada and other stuff too!)
