I'm looking to find out if its possible to have a stamp made. We run a not for profit org. and would love to have a stamp made up with our name and the logo design. Its bascially a tricycle and the name of the org. Is this very hard to obtain? Just got back from out of town and received the Christmas in July swap. Thanks so much for hosting and the little goodies that you included in your swap....and was I really deserving of that certificate...LOL!! Anyway, here goes the cards....just wonderful all of them!! Karker@gte.net - Nice PSX home stamp on front on red card stock with glitter on the roof top, trees and ground..to give a snow effect! Inside says, "From our home to your home Merry Christmas". Nice warm touch to this. Laura - Starlight - Hi Laura...a fellow stamper from Colorado. Cute card here that's for sure! Blue background paper with snowflakes on it with five snowmen representing her entire family! Cute!! She even named each one. Thanks Laura! Can't wait to finally meet you in person!! Maureen Butcher - Rinski - Blue card stock with tree branches embossed in green with white glitter. Blue bulb on the tree stands out with 3d. Maureen, what kind of paper did you use on the bulb? That is really a neat effect that it gives off...!! Inside says Season Greetings embossed with gold! Katrice Faulkner - stamping magic....Cute card Katrice....red card stock with snowman up front with let it snow and holly berry leaves cut out with snowflakes also embossed in white on the front. Inside says Have a Holly Jolly Christmas. Katrice, could you email and tell me whose stamp is the snowman and saying? I really like them. And last but not least....Dennie Aquino, my stamping sis'.......Star shaped santa on white card stock colored in with red and green and glitter with a pearly glitter....snowflakes are glittered in the background. Santa is tied to the top of the card on a midsection of the card. Inside says Merry Christmas. I am assuming that you used DOTS? Very, very nice. To Karker, Laura, Maureen, Katrice and Dennie thanks for making the Christmas in July card swap so special. I now have five new great ideas to use for my Christmas cards. Always...happy stamping.... Could I get your snail addy. I would love to send a card to he/she.... Thanks again... Shoko Well my dear SSS.... Just when I was feeling sorry for myself...I found a box from you. Thank you so much for thinking of me. I have been out of town which is why I am posting this so late!!! First off, I received a very nice note from my SSS. He/she asks me what color ink pads do I need? I have the just about every color that you could possibly think of but I love the Kaleidacolor pads...I have birthstone. Embossing powder...I have a lot of colors but I notice as time has gone on I am a black-pigment-ink-clear-embossing-powder kind of gal!!! I use the basics more than anything.....clear, black, gold and I love the amazing glaze? Do you? It works great on shrink art pins, too. Does my hubby like candy or gum? Yes, he is a snackaholic. How about yours? Sometimes we have to hide extras from him or he'll eat them all up :)!!! Do I like um stamps? I just went to the Carson Convention and I do like them now. Believe me, I jumped into the rubber pit with the best of them, especially at the Printworks booth :)!!! They are very money saving kind of stamps!! I bought a bunch of wood blocks and mounting tape, too. How about you? Ultimately mounted stamps are the best but if you do your um's with a bunch of people, which is what I did with my family, they are actually kind of fun. And lastly...yes I loved my SSS package. You are just too kind. This is the remaining generous part of my package: red, green, blue, gold and silver glitter; wallpaper for background paper (how did you know? My DH just brought me home three big books and I am having a field day with them!!!); handmade envys with wallpaper (I love doing this, too!); qtips....great for all the chalking I do; roller stamper and stickers that so generously have my daughter Kelly's name on it; sticky notes.....always need those for those masking jobs; clear envys; doilies....great for tracing onto cards!!!!; wonderful smelling rasperry bath grains, a pink floral pouch with ribbon, shells and multi color stars and heart confetti (how do you know I needed this...I just took a shaker card class!!); shelf gripper paper...to be used for backgrounds...help me out here SSS...I just lined my new shelves in my house with this material :); a matchbook with a heart stamped on the front; wonderful background paper...glossy, matte and duplex....can't wait to use those and last but not least...a wonderful PSX (hey I would recognize that company from anywhere!) rose card embossed and stamped. Whew...that was a mouthful. Dear SSS...thank you for the wonderful package. You bet I loved it. But even more, I loved that you took the time to do the handmade items. It holds 50 on a side, rougly, and there are four sides. I also got a $1 revolving metal rack that holds clip art and coloring books, and that has been a godsend, too. At the same time I got an acrylic earring stand that revolves--I have used it in the past for beads and stuff, but I am now gonna put HALO hook on it and store my Poet and Poet jr words, and any haloed rebus stamps I have. Best $3 I ever spent! The store I got 'em from has never done that again, more's the pity--though a friend got me a metal rack that held paperbacks and that one was free. Can't beat those prices! Phil's r rack may be prettier, though. My computer is being scrapped and a NEW one is being sent as we speak!! I should be back on line in 10 days! Meanwhile, my basement has been flooded in all the rain Colorado has had in the past two weeks, so we had to spend a THOU- SAND dollars to have the water pumped out and the carped dried and relaid...I'm none too pleased about this, but at least my entire house didn't wash away like some folks' did. I shouldn't complain at all. I've missed y'all! I'll be back soon, and don't forget to send your Stamper a Day stamp orders to me or Don! (Don't respond here, since I won't be here again before my new computer gets here...I'll let you know when I'm back in biz!!)
