Deni, where did you get this frame stamp I have to have one. from tina starling a grat job of sponging in a sky and water, she did this on white maybe linnen paper and stamped a genie bottle at an angle to sit in the water a bit and filled it with colored hearts and beads, when you open it up to the inside there are whales jumping and playing, very good card and a great effect. Tina, did you brayer or sponge in the water and sky? Frome Carlene Czarnik, a card done on pink paper(my favorite color), she cut most of the center away to form a good size window and on the edges she stamped a tea cup border by auntie amy stamps, and on the edges she stamped a large teapot and a tea cup, inside for a front backing she has a bunch of tea motifs stamped, and the inside holds a couple of tea pot confetti and hearts, you did a wonderful job on this card Carlene, where did you get your teapots confetti? Next Lisa Marie did a cute bunny holding a heart and the heart is cut out and is the window to the card, inside she has confetti of bunnies. She has done this on white cardstock embossed in blue with stenciled I think hearts. Cute card Lisa, I loved your idea. From Debi Lynn a large watering can she has done this on white cardstock and stamped with a rainbow pad, she cut away the inside of the can and inside she has stamped have a sunny day and has filled it with butterflys of different sizes on the outside she has stamped all kinds of butterflies. I loved your card debi, and the idea was so neat, who makes the large watering can, she also had put a multicolor ribbon to go around the edges a real neat effect. from Pam A.K.A. Stampified a wonderful card, on white cardstock she has stamped the front with, clouds, sun, sand and in the center bottom she has cut out a window, which she filled with sand from her vacation, and all sorts of sea confetti, she has stamped, cut out and mounted a darling turtle and a girl, she states all stamps are from dots, they have the cutest stamps. Inside the card so it shows thu the window, she has stamped water and several colorful fish swimming. You did a wonderful job Pam and I loved your card. Thanks once again to Deni for hosting this wonderful swap. Thursday as I was about to head out the door to my FINAL appointment with the ENT Dr. about my ear infection, here comes the mail man with a box! Well, I was late to the Dr! SSS Box contains: Neat computer art card and note. Tribal singing women. Small bottle of Goo Gone. Always useful. A small bottle of body powder. Does this have a stamping purpose, or is it simply for me to enjoy? A small and a medium HALOS mount and a slew of hook and loop. I hope you won't be too disappointed to hear that I already have halos -- especially since I needed more loop tape and the two sizes you sent me are the one I lost (tiny) and the one I use most often and so can use a second one. Ready to really ooh and ahh -- I got KAI scissors! These are cooo - el! I am very pleased to have these!!! More oohing and ahhing please -- tons of UM's and a peg pop set (which I will HALO). The Peg pop set is the Ancient Petroglyphs! Based on the Altamira and Lascaux cave paintings for the most part! I really love these! I have considered purchasing these at the stamp store before and I even thought of trying to carve a stamp of the Lascaux horse once -- I gave it up as too hard. S/he also used some similar petroglyph sort of clip art on the note to me. The um's were (have we been conventioning lately?) two word stamps "Big Thanks" and "What's a nice person like you doing in a place like this?" A corner stamp that is a baby holding up a swath of ribbon with stars -- very appropriate to a baby gift card I need to make this weekend!. A primitive african art stamp of a clay figurine with a drum (this goes with the theme of the computer art card) by Rubber Anarchy (is that right?). A globe stamp and a stamp of a stack of books and a candlestick-- these will look very nice together and are somewhat masculine (I am always challenged when it comes to cards for men in my life) and will also be great for the map swap. Also a UM of two puzzle pieces with the continents inside. Finally four abstract stamps -- a square sort of cruciform and another with a spiral kind of design these seem somewhat celtic. A smaller square with a sort of solar abstraction and an oblong tribal looking thing. Guess what? I love them ALL! Everything was wrapped in art tissue so I can try the tie dye tissue technique! And, SS you say in your note that there's not much that is on my wish list in this package, but I don't mind a bit -- this package is great! You seem to have taste I like. I am guessing you have kids since one of the bags used to stuff the package was a toys R us bag. I am perplexed (as I am supposed to be I presume) by the discrepancy between the return address and the postal sticker). One is in CA the other in WA. Now I have to dig up an atlas and see if these two places are near to one another. Thanks SS! I can't wait to get to know you better! And what a happy last day to a rotten month --a new SS and my ear infections are cleared up!! Yea. (SS you haven't seen me post much lately because I am unsubbed since I have spent most of July sick). I will resub soon! And they would not be pressing charges against a hundred stampers, only those who have mech. repro. a Disney image. So at most it would likely only be 10 or 12 stampers, and if this if your first time, they would likely only make you get all of the pages back and destory them. Would anyone take a Hallmark card and color copy it and then send the copies out to save having to buy the cards? I doubt it, but it is no different when someone stamps a card and then photocopies it and sends out the photocopies. Exactly, the same copyright laws apply. I am a paper fiend. I got some mulberry type paper and some beautiful purple floral tissue paper. I got a neat little memo book that looks as if the cover has been made out of handmade paper. I got a giant glue stick ... yay, I need to work on Christmas cards. I got a solid stamp that looks sort of like the fleur de lys (?) . I love these types of stamps. I'm hoping to get into the fabric stamping, so what a perfect choice. I also got three bars of FIMO. I think this is a sign for me to broaden my horizons. I also got two types of wire ... neat stuff to play with. And, the greatest was the comotion cleaning pad. I used to have one exactly like this but I had to give it a nice send off before summer. So,what perfect timing. And, I loved the extras .. the soap smells wonderful and I do so love the Bath and Body Works lotions. You must be a mind reader. I have one of the pewter pots that you use with the wax tarts, so that's always a welcome gift. Thanks for everything. It was a wonderful package to get during my birthday month! Hugs!
