Most importantly... us big suckers like to always know we are party of the family of stamping...unless there's a hubby who want's nothing to do with stampin. That is not the case here and I truly felt excluded and now I hear you say that's ok - they don't follow the list, they don't etc... Not so... I suspect most husband are very much involed and a part of the the stamp lady's everyday life and stampin activities... at least that is the case here and I see from the book rubrwoman put together of the pages on everyone, that amny stampers think that way... I suppose there are a few who share your same thoughts and that's is ok... but for me... I think I am right in there with Shawn in a way that is enjoyable for me and is a real part of her stampin life. Catch the pic's of Stampfest I prepare for the list SOON. Frank) Subject: RS: Dry Embossing Table` I just had to share with you all what my oldest son did. Last night when he got home from work (11pm) he has this box in his hand. He hands it to me and says "Mom I found a small piece (about 8.5 x 11) of plexi glass in the trash at work (he works at a cabinet shop part time) and I tried to make it into a light table for you so you could do your dry embossing stuff on it." It is so cute. It is not flat to the table like most - it is tall so I can stand and not have to lean over so much!!!!! How clever!!! It stands about a foot tall. He painted it white inside and out so that the light would reflect brighter inside!!! WOW I'm so impressed!!! I just have to find a light to put inside now. I wonder if one of those christmas candle lights would work? Wasn't that sweet of him to do that for him mom? Hugs Debbie * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Hey, wanna stamp? My friend Jenny Nuckols, the director and coordinator of the FT. Collins show, called me today. She called to tell me that the Ft. Collins show is still on. She alos in informed me that her office, which WAS in her basement, is now gone, under 2 feet of water and mud. Her computer HD was wiped clean, so her mailing list , etc, is gone, too. Just imagine your whole mailing list and everything else about the show-gone. And flood insurance only covers structural damage, not anything personal. So, if anyone would like to send her cards to help cheer her up, please email me and I'll give you her address. Thanks to all who decide to send her something, i know it will make her feel a lot better.
