This is an activity center for anyone in the community 55 years or older. There are scheduled classes, health enhancement activities, exercise groups, and nutrition program. My family thinks I play all day. With all the changes in health care and the booming numbers of people over 80, the kinds of services we provide has been changing. Within the last couple of years we added an adult day health program for frail adults to give their families a day of respite each week. I do lots of advocacy and referral services and run a 40-unit low income apartment building. For volunteer work, I'm a member of our city's Human Services Commission.
