I have felt the love and concern when someone is in pain and felt I needed to let you know that right now I am in alot of pain myself. I have lost a very good friend today. He was in a motorcycle accident Friday evening and has been brain dead ever since. He owned a Harley and didn't believe in wearing a helmet. They pulled him off of life support yesterday and he passed on today. I really loved this guy he was a true friend. He left a wife and daughter behind (13), she was a true Daddy's girl. He will be missed dearly. My main concern is his daughter, my Dad died when I was 9 and I still feel that pain today, I wish I could take hers away from her now, but I can't. Please if you ride a motorcycle and usually don't use a helmet, please consider starting. It may save your life and alot of grief of your family and friends, people can not be replaced. Sorry to go on for so long and didn't mean to depress anyone, please forgive me. I guess I've had more than my share of grief lately, my brother died in Sep, one of my best girlfriends in Dec, a women I considered a mom and my other half's grandfather a couple of months ago and I am just a little down. Thank you for listening to me and bless you all. Again sorry to depress anyone. When these wonderful cards come in I immediately put them up on the carpet (it's hanging on the wall) for all to see and enjoy. Then I put the envys on my desk so that I can remember to say thank you. But for some reason, today, the envys went into the trash instead of on my desk and I almost forgot to thank you for them. Got a lovely one from Megan who signs herself the Ribbon Stamper, and I can see why. She has used a real ribbon bow on the card. And some golden butterflies who also look like bows surround the golden "Happy Birthday" mounted on corregated stock and that on gold flecked tissue. So very pretty Megan. Thank much. And Jing. I also forgot to mention Jing's beautiful card. All dry embossed and colored so professionally looking with chalk? The colors are so pretty and the border is so subtle. And there's a really sparkly "Happy Birthday" inside. I do love dry embossing and should do more of it. I certainly have plenty of stencils. But my coloring attempts have really been feeble. This is sooo pretty. I think you must have colored it while the stencil was still on, yes? --`---,--{@ Patti in Fort Myers, FL @}--`--,-- ~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~ Computers are life.
