(The checks, not the people) Sometimes the envy is stamped, sometimes not. Sometimes there's a card, sometimes not. Sometimes there's some reference to what was ordered, usually not. But not Anno...not by a long shot! I received a Priority Envelope JAMMED PACKED with stuff! Including a very cute card (description later), and several books. Now Anno, I can figure out the significance of the book "The Ant and the Elephant", because I've ttpo'd you with an elephant head and sent you some ant stamps, but "The Magic School Bus in the Time of the Dinosaurs", "This is My House", and "George Washington, a Picture book biography" totally elude me! (guesses below) Oh, yeah, her check was in there, too! So, vendors...neener, neener, neener!!! :) Anno's one of the best customers around, eh! Description of card: Base layer is a natural looking brownish cardstock with swarms and swarms of ants stamped all over it. Here and there a few of the ants are colored red. Next layer is black cardstock Next layer is this really cool red and white checked paper that looks just like a picnic cloth! Next layer is "Antsy for some fun?" stamped in black ink on the same natural brownish paper mounted on more black cardstock, applied at an angle in the upper left corner. Below that is a small ant, holding a very large cupcake up with one "hand". And to the right is another ant standing and holding a picnic basket. The whole balance of the card is great! Thank you for sending it, I enjoyed seeing it! Guesses about the books: "This Is My House": The opening picture is of Seattle "George Washington": I live in Washington "The Magic School Bus in the Time of the Dinosaurs": With a same like Dawn, I sound like a dinosaur. One guy I used to date, couldn't say, "thank you, dawn" without cracking up. He thought it sounded like a dinosaurs name and made roaring sounds anytime he wanted to thank me for something! Anyway...I really appreciate it all--so do the kids!!! Talk about getting RAK'd!!! Prices here have been totally ridiculous - I was paying 9.99/can for Folgers, tried the Safeway brand for awhile and it was just too bitter, and now this week they have a sale on Folgers for 7.48/can - I'm tempted to buy a whole case or 2 and stock up! But then someone told me they had heard that coffee prices were coming down and I should hold off. My husband makes 2 pots of coffee alone in the morning to fill up his 1/2 gallon thermos and 'big' cup - then I make another pot for myself. We've tried, Maxwell House and Folgers but the Dukin Donuts is the best for us. It costs about 4.99 per lb and you always seem to get more then a lb of beans, so we grind as we use. Seems a little higher then store cans, but for three pots a day we can stretch the beans for the week.
