My package came and everyone was wanting to know what came. I opened it up to a big surprise . . . literally, surprise confetti was falling out of the box as soon as I opened it. Inside, one of my boys immediately found, and wanted a candy cane. Two hot pink satin balls came rolling out, and will be bounced around by the same boy (almost 3) if I don't watch him. A pretty metal candle holder, with 2 votive candles to put inside. She painted on the top of the candles, and put jewels into the candles too. They are so pretty. I wouldn't have thought of doing this, but it is a really neat idea. A heart paper punch. This is soooo neat, because I haven't had any, and wanted some, just was too cheap to spend the money on it. Then some pom-poms were found rolling around. Stickers, for me or my kids!!! They will have to fight me for them, I think. Envelopes: pink, white, and red. These are for larger cards. This is neat, because I don't have any this size. I just make them small, or hand them out without an envy. A counted cross stitch Christmas ornament. Sponges were stuffed around and in things, but these will come in handy for some different sponged projects. And, last but NOT least, a couple of stamps. A cute little bunny, peeking over the word SUPER. My daughter will love this stamped on her best math papers. AND, a Posh stamp- Bold Bandana. My daughter says she saw this on the Dee G. video I have, but I never saw it. Another excuse to watch the video again. Thank you so much. This was a wonderful package, and like I said, such a pick-me-up for a tough 3 wks. Not just the computer, but everything else too. You will have to send me that e-mail addy again, that was lost in the crash. Find a go between, and I'll send you a card with the stamp you sent. It is a neat one. I have a feeling the descriptions won't meet up to how super all these cards are! They have given me many ideas and are such an encouragement!! Thank-you to Debbie the Miracle Stamper for hosting, for the stickers and now for the cards! Debbie the Miraclestamper's card is a bear at the beach. On glossy cardstock fluffy clouds have been sponged in and a smiling sun looks on (3-d'd) and now wonder he is smiling at the bear wearing a snorkel (how did you make the lens of the snorkel?) Hawaiian swimming trunks and fins and a ducky inner-tube, carrying a pail and shovel. He is sstanding on what looks like real sand, while waves (3'ded) lap at his ankles! Inside "Shore wish you were here." Very impressive. Marci William's card is tourquois blue, layered with a speckled tan card with dry imbossed, shell, fish, umbrella sun and pail, all nicely colored in --Life's a . . . (inside) Beach! Very expertly done. Cyndee's pc is hysterical!1 A very heavy woman sitting on the beach in her itty bitty teeny weeny suit. She has a beehive hair do and holds a little tiny umbrella---a flaming sunset behind her--"yes dahling . . the sun is down! Very funny and great use of color! CRA's card Life's a Beach. . . Clouds and sand with some real shells, inside clouds on top and a bear sitting in an inner-tube, 3-d'd holding a kite string. The kite is up with the clouds 3-d'd with a material kite tail with little ribbons. Very creative, and fun card. Beverly Larsen's colorful card has a rippling message a day in the sun. . . a day in the sun . . a da A vute girl wearing a blue sailor suit and red sandals, carrying her beach umbrella and pail and shovel. Behind her are little tables and chairs with umbrella's that you see near the beach! Very beautifully done! Pam did this last card, which was the first card I saw out of the envelope today. Three very silly children, out for a good time at the beach. One carries a beach ball, while a bird nests in her hair, she is wearing sun glasses, her toenails are painted red and she has a beach pail and shovel near her, the next girl in sandals and suit, with straw hat, the third wearing a snorkel and holding a fishing pole. In the background fluffy clouds, smiling sun, realistic sand and even a shell. The verse inside is great!! It is on top of a shell and reads, "Friends are like seashells . . . No two are exactly alike, but each is a precious treasure." Love it. When I grow up I want to be exactly like these stampers!!!
