Normally, I wouldn't post this type of note, but I really think the members of the list should hear my story of dealing with Fran. I took advantage of the vellum sale that Fran was having, and ordered 8 pack- ages of vellum. When my order arrived, the box had been opened, and only 1 package of vellum was inside. Boy was I disappointed. I wrote to Fran telling her what happened so that she'd be sure to tape up the boxes better (to avoid anyone else's box being opened - and merchandise being stolen). I didn't expect what happened next....Fran wrote me a long apology, and shipped an additional 7 packages of vellum (to replace the stolen ones), at her expense. I was very impressed (and thankful), and therefore would like to commend and recommend her for her service. Know that when you order from her, she won't consider your order complete until you are satisfied. I am not connected to her....just a more than satisfied customer. I rolled out the white Sculpy to about 1/8" thickness. Then stamped on it using my "I love stamping" image from Stamp Storage & More. I cut them out and lay them upside down in clear embossing powder. Next, I put them (right side up) on a foil lined cookie sheet and baked them. The clear EP makes them look like ceramic tile. All you need to do after they cool is glue on the pin back. In March, I made "shaker-style" pins using the canning jar image by Hero Arts. I filled it with M&M Mini's and used sticker paper to make a hinge so the recipient could eat the candy. In July, I made a simple pin using 2 stamps. I used the "Buns" image from Rubber Baby Buggy Bumper. It is an old man "mooning". Under that image, I stamped "I suffer from stamper's butt" (a Viva Las Vegastamps image). If you need more ideas, let me know. I save all the pins I receive and so I have a pretty good amount of "inspiration" hanging up in my stamp room. A couple weeks ago she was able to get on the internet herself, and of course, the first thing she had to do was get on the rubberstampers list (that was really the purpose of her getting on the internet). I'll let her tell you a little (or a lot) about herself. But, I wanted to introduce a good friend of mine to all of you . . . (drum roll) Darlene AveLallemant (yes, another Darlene) She has been reading lots of mail, deleting more than she reads, entering swaps (and she is NO newbie), and writing people privately. If she is asked sweetly, she might come out and talk to everyone. There, Darlene, have I embarressed you enough!!! Now, you better talk back to me, publicly.
