Hey all you Pigeon Forge Convention Goers:  I just spoke to Carolyn from
ZimPrints.  They will be at the convention this weekend.  If you're into
fabric stamping then this is a great place to purchase stamps, paints
and supplies.  They have developed their own paints and I swear that
they last longer and don't rinse out when washed.  They also have
wonderful little zimmy stamps that can be used with the fabrico
pads...for fabric stamping as well.  I'm not related just a wonderful
customer.  So...if you stop by the ZimPrint booth tell Nannette and
Carolyn that Libby says hello.  Somebody give me a report back on the
wonderful convention.  Thanks!!!

   All I can say is "Good Luck".  I wore myself out trying to take the
black double-stick cushion off the UMs that I got in Boston in 96.   It
is the stickingest stuff I have ever seen!!  I even soaked some of them
for a few days, but that didn't help much either.  
   I can't remember why I didn't just leave it on - maybe it stuck too
hard to the acrylic mounts.  Is it possible to put Tack It directly on
the black double sticky foam?  It seems like I have heard of someone
doing that, but I don't know for sure that the black stuff will hold up
to the ripping on and off.  My thoughts will be with you and your aching
fingers - but the dies are definitely worth it - one of my favorite
companies!!  In fact, if you get too disgusted with all that work, I
would...never mind, you wouldn't fall for that <G>!!

My son and I spent the afternoon making and coloring hand made stickers. =
We had so much fun making them! I got to thinking (uh oh...) what if I =
put together a swap for handmade stickers. There are so many different =

BTW, this song was played at a funeral of a friend 2 years ago - he
committed suicide, and requested that this song be played and dedicated
to his widow.  To see it here with your tragic post gives me chills...


This is a shock...there's nothing you can say now, except that your son
should remember the good times he had with his friend.  I don't know how
I'd explain something like this to a child - it's hard enough to deal
with as an adult.

Kiss your son, and hold him tight, and he'll feel your comfort.  I would
imagine, unless he's been exposed before, that the funeral will be a
frightening event for him - try to prepare him for that, with as many
details as you feel comfortable.

Thank you! My puter is all fixed now! My firens fixed it he is soooo
good with computers. I do not have the nerves to go foolin around in
there! I like to fool with the software aspect more.  I always get
someone I know who "knows" what they are doing.  I am glad I go to a
technical schools and there are engineers at my beck and call! They
often tease me because I am really a scientist not an engineer but that
is okay with me!

 Absolutely one of the most beautiful cars ever created.  Lucky guy!!  I
still want one, along with a Mach I Mustang circa 1970-71, a 1966-67 GTO, an

This is a note from Sheryl's husband:


Sheryl has asked me to thank everyone that 
participated in the Treasure Book Class and 
tell you how much she appreciates the items 
you sent in return for the instruction/sample 
packet. (All have been sent, except for three 
going to Canada and Australia. I'll take those 
to the Post Office tomorrow.) Sheryl had been 
intent on handwriting a personal 'Thank You' 
note to each participant, to be included in 
each Treasure Book packet she sent out.  
Unfortunately, she finally admitted that she is 
not able to continue this, if you are to receive your 
packet before Christmas... Sheryl has Fibromyalgia 
and has been enduring a particularly painful 
flare-up  for a while now. Adding to that, she 
has Asthma and during a recent attack managed 
to throw her back out and injure two ribs, yet
she never loses her sense of humor. She worked 
on the Treasure Book info at her computer until 
she simply couldn't continue, but then she 
insisted on using her laptop computer to finish 
it in bed.  When Sheryl starts a project, she is 
like a "Terrier with a sock" (her words) until 
it is completed and this class was no different. 
I am not sharing this with you to illicit sympathy, 
just thought you'd like to know what an extraordinary 
lady she is. Also, to those who want to order her 
postoid stickers, please know that they are printed
and ready to be shipped, just let us know which designs 
you want. Thank you for all the warm messages you 
have sent to Sheryl concerning the Treasure Book 
Class... she is quite happy to be able to share her 
ideas with all of you.

I have one of those too. I agree, it's fair that if you cook
he should clean up. I wonder about the fairness of that
when he cooks his famous chili. It doesn't seem possible

Subject: RS: TAN: Magic Bars recipe

I'm not sure if this is the one you mean -- but it sounds like it!
This one I got from a friend who called them "Mounds Bars" --

CRUST: 
1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers,
1/2 cup butter - melted, 1/3 cup powdered sugar.
Mix & press into 9x13" pan. Bake for 10 min. at 350 degrees. Cool.

1ST LAYER:
7 oz. package coconut, 1 can condensed sweetened milk,
1/2 cup chopped nuts. 
Mixed & spread over cooled crust. Bake for 15 min. at 350 degrees.
Cool again.

2ND LAYER:
1 cup chocolate chips, 1/2 cup butterscotch chips.
Melt and spread over coconut mixture.
Cool, cut into bars.

(sometimes I add more chocolate to the top, and I always
cut a piece before it's completely cool. Just to test it, you know!!)

 This place has a washing machine.  The first day I put four shirts in,
 pulled the chain and I ain't  seen 'em since.
 
It only rained twice this week. Three days the first time and four
days the second time.  You know the coat you wanted me to send to you?
Hell, Aunt Sue said it would be too heavy to send in the mail with
them heavy buttons on it, so we cut them off and put them in the
pockets.  We got a letter from the funeral home.  They said if we
don't make the last payment on Grandma's funeral bill, up she comes.
Your sister had a baby this morning.  I ain't heard whether it's a boy
or girl so I don't know if you're an uncle or aunt.

Your Uncle John fell in the whiskey vat.  Some men tried to pull him
out but he fought them off, so he drowned.  We cremated him and he
burned for three days.  Three of your friends went off the bridge in a
pick-up.  One was driving, the other two were in the back.  The driver
got out.  He rolled the window down and swam to safety. The other two
drowned.  They couldn't get the tailgate down.

There's not much news this time, nothing much has happened.

Hi-
JMHO, but we rented a house for awhile and it had one of those stoves
and I really hated it - sorry!  If you spilled something on it, it was
really hard to clean - you had to buy a special kind of cleaner to use
or you'd scratch the surface.  And when you turned the burners off, it
took forever to cool down.  Like when you have a recipe where you bring
something to a boil, then have to simmer at a low heat - I always ended
up burning whatever it was.

Too bad you can't go with gas - that is the _best_ by far!!

Just like you have to try the toys at christmas to make sure they work.

*grin* It's important for me to taste test. I think if I ever said that I had 
followed a recipe exactly my DH would expire from shock, and
