I got my July SSS parcel today. It had a NZ postage stamp and a return addy of Havelock North so I was so confused when I picked it up. Neat stamps all over the label, so I opened it from the bottom and had to go right thru it to find it was from my SS. The bottom was all done up with MAF quarantine tape, don't know how long they had it for, but they must have liked the label on top too as they hadn't broken that. So from the bottom up I got: 6 large sheets of corrugated card in different colours and 2 large sheets of cork. I had just bought a mag with a couple of how to stamp on cork projects so this is perfect timing for trying this out. A large craft giftbag, a glossy white giftbag, and 10 gold giftbags. These will be so useful as I have lots of family birthdays coming up. Full sheets of beautiful Japanese papers in black, gold, red and green and a mulberry paper letter set from PSX. I love these papers. A paperbilities patterned & dimensional papers pack - havent seen these here yet. Pulppassions stardust collection papers, have seen msgs raving about these, now I see why. A packet of 10 see-through envelopes with gold seals and it's got an ideas booklet as well. A packet of sticker paper - my children love stickers so they will also love you for sending these. A packet each of parchment and earthtone cards & envys - these are beautiful colours. And thru all of this was angel confetti, think this might have been spread around by MAF as also some tissue with angel confetti too. And bags of confetti - coloured music notes, numbers, & stars, and silver & gold stars and moons. And a card from my SS, which is going up on my wall. Can you tell me whose stamp that is? Yes I am enjoying my parcel very much, and feel so spoilt with all the supplies. Thanks heaps and heaps. The surface is black. I LOVE it. Many people told me that I would hate it once the top started scratching and it would be difficult to keep clean. Wrong. As long as you use the cleaner sold for it it cleans up very nicely. I have had this for about 6 years and there is one tiny scratch that has been there since about the 1st month. The only problem I have had is that it is a little slower to get up to temperature and it stays hot a long time after you are done with the burner. Mine came with a video to show how to take care of it and the best ways to use it. I made my teenaged sons watch it....that was the hardest part, getting them to watch the video. Hope you like yours. I am hoping to have some time today in between setting up for the Ft. Collins convention and swim lessons to go pick one out. Hubby gave the Ok and the Maytag is on sale. (Free delivery, 1 yr no interest too!) We have had really good luck with our Maytag dishwasher and gas dryer so if the Maytag offers a couple of the features I want, that is what I will try. I also get 30 days to trade if= I don't like it. How can I loose? Thanks so much for all of your imput. = If anyone else wants to comment please continue to e-mail me since if I don'= t get this done today it will be next week and I love to hear your comment= s. For those of you close to Ft. Collins I will be in the Rubbernecker/Smudges booth. For those going to STampaway please stop by the Stampity Anne booth as I will be working there too! Thanks again! Not currently subbed, but I had to share this.....  UPS just called and said that a truck was going to be at the little cafe in town handing out packages at noon, and mine is one of them!!!  I guess it's much easier to do it that way, than to drive all over the area.  I'm just glad to be getting my stuff!!

I Loved the wallpaper envy! Inside she wrote - "Consider yourself RAK'd" This was cool. Maybe I'll do a little RAKing on Sunday now that I have some inspiration! Thanks Susan! Some have already been described, but here they are again. RubrObcsed - A beautiful cloudy background done on glossy paper. On that is stamped single M&M's and a small M&M package - all have wings that colored with chalk. The card says "In Heaven chocolate has no calories and is served as a main course". Michelle (in NM) - Using Print Shop Delux, Michelle printed "I love M&M's" in on vellum (it looks like the new word background stamps from Hero Arts) and glued that to green card stock. On top of that is layed a smaller squaare with green peanut M&M's and one red one. The inside of the card says "I get the green ones". Michelle also included a green envelope with a row of ants some of which are carrying M&M's stamped across the front. This is a great card and my husband's favorite :) Lisa Huppert - My very first shaker card! Lisa stamped a bag on white cardstock and cut out the center. Inside the bag are M&M's, Hershey kiss confetti and small Hershey bars. There is a red tag attached the says "In the beginning there was the word. And the word was Chocolate. And it was good. Confections, 1.5 oz., 240 cal." The background is covered with small pink and purple dots. Carolyn Lebeau - My first shrink plastic pin too! Carolyn stamped a bag (it looks like the same one that Lisa used) on shrink plastic and some M&M's in different colors. She also included a pin back and a magnet so that it can be used either way. This is so cool! Unknown - a bookmark stamped on a greyish speckled cardstock. In the middle is Care Bear with an M&M stamped on his tummy. There are M&M's stamped all around him and the red one have glitter added. Very cute. Alpha Becky (our wonderful hostess) - Stamped on glossy card stock - a man with a very wide opened mouth and a trail of M&M's going into his mouth. In the corner it says "M&Ms really will melt in your hand, but nobody has ever held them long enough to find that out". In the lower corner is a peanut M&M with a thought bubble that says "I'm glad he doesn't like peanuts!" This is too funny. She also sent a magnet of an M&M bag with a mini M&M glued to it and a small envelope made from M&M wrapping paper filled with stamped and cut out M&M's. This was such a great swap - thanks for hosting Alpha Becky, you did a great job. And thanks to all the players, there is so much talent and imagination here. Now I need to add chalk and shrink plastic and pin backs and magnets and LOTS of practice time to my stamping list! If you spilled something on it, it was really hard to clean - you had to buy a special kind of cleaner to use or you'd scratch the surface. And when you turned the burners off, it took forever to cool down. Like when you have a recipe where you bring something to a boil, then have to simmer at a low heat - I always ended up burning whatever it was. Too bad you can't go with gas - that is the _best_ by far!! Lynette >> You must have read my mind. I had the white kind for 3 years. Don't get one! It stained and after a while I could not get it white any more without much struggle. Maybe the new black ones are better. I bought sealed gas burners this time and it is a great improvement except you still have to clean the grate things that sit above the burners and hold the pot. Obviously designed by men. (Like the blenders with the little buttons) It seems like with all the great advances in the world, they could come up with the perfect stove.
