In fact, I am so excited about it that I am giving up on sleep before I head out. Thank you, Laurie Morrison, for hosting such a fun one and for the NEATO beach stickers..... That lounge chair has my name on it!!! Carole Mork chose a blue gray textured cardstock to add sand, surf, sun and music to. In the middle is the phrase *Wishing you a bright sunshiny day* and it is layered on neat paper that looks like bubbles. What a fun card! Beth sent a beach scene stamped on glossy cardstock. She stippled the card in blue/green hues and then added sand and ground cover..markered or painted to add color. A friendly frog is in the air along with the caption *Jump in*.....Perfect posture..I will give that dive a 9.... Nan Hall-Johnson used colored pencils to create a busy beach scene...complete with underwater animals, beach beauties and a surfer. The coloring is just gorgeous as is the attention to detail. A great tribute to a day at the beach! Devon layered edged yellow on top of orange cardstock to create the background for a bathing frog. Stamped in black is an ornate Victorian bathtub complete with highlighted water. On top is a surfer frog looking quite comfortable. A sun in the corner finishes up this humorous look at a frog's fantasy.... Deseray Miller sent in a card featuring a 40's bathing beauty sipping on a sultry day while flocks of birds go flying by. I think my mom had a suit like that....Great job creating the perfect beach moment. Laurie Morrison went underwater for her impression of sun and surf. She stamped a mermaid, fish and plantlife in black and then brayered over it with a Caribbean colored pad. Ultra thick embossing enamel was used to create an ultra-glossy effect. Stunning and vibrant card...... Thanks once again for this great swap....catch ya next summer!!!! You just put some detergent (we use the gel) in water and let it soak. Before we discovered this we tried everything. Just running the thermos through the dishwasher doesn't do it. Neither did soaking with vinegar or scrubbing with a bottle brush. I guess you can tell my husband is a coffee maniac and we had let this go for too long! At first I thought the metal was just stained and that it wouldn't come out but this works! Karen Rannie Jo wrote: > > Hey gang! Today while cleaning I discovered the cure for my inky > fingers! These are a set of 10 pens and 8 stencils for $18.00. The copyright symbol is beside the name Blopens. Is that a good price? All my friends have not had these problems with netscape and I really think it is a better browser, due to the fact 6 months ago I had no idea how to get around on the web. Now I do pretty well. I think you can still get a free copy from either ZD Net software or C-Net in the shareware areas. Might give it a try hope this helps Bets Brian Finnegan wrote: > ----------------- > The weirdest thing happened. The paper under shows through. It makes a paste paper and you can have another piece beside you and stamp the stamp with glue on it to get two cool cards. I think you could probably mix this with acrylic paints also.
