Under each picture, I add the stamp company name and item # if I happen to have it right there. It makes it really easy to keep up with. This is the book that I look through to try to generate ideas for swaps, because it has all my images there! I will NOT put a UM into my filing system until I have stamped it in my book. That is why I have 200 waiting so patiently from a huge grab-bag a few months back! I love this part of my system. Hi everyone, Just got a ote from photolee and she made a point that there are alot of you who do not know how a scavenger hunt works so I'd better set down the rules here for all of you. In a scavenger hunt, you are given a list of items to "hunt" for. After you have them all assmbled, you mail them to a hunter (whose name I will supply you with) . You keep your identity secret until the swap is completed. Someone else will have your name and you will receive the same things as you mailed out EXCEPT of course that they will be different cause someone picked them out for you. Anyone can host a scavenger hunt and the items to "HUNT" for could be anything you wanted themn to be. Themes are nice cause they give you an idea of what to get. When I host a scavenger hunt, NOONE ever sends to the same person who has their name. I try to mix the names up so that you receive from soneone other thaan the person you sent to. I hope this helps to clear up the mystery about scavenger hunts and that all of you will join us for a fun time. Thanks. Girl you need that H2O! Grab that "spitball" and dissolve it in a tub of water and you'll be fine! Dunk in your screen and lift it up and *then* turn it upside down on your couching sheet that setting on top of a stack of folded towels (who's surface should be nice and flat and *larger* than your molding screen) NOW you get the water out of it by soaking it up from behind with sponges. When you've got just about all the water you can out of the paper/screen, you gently lift the screen off the paper (sometimes it needs to be coerced just a touch. Blow gently thru the screen to get it to seperate. At this point you can either stack your couched sheets together and press them or do as I usually do and iron them smooth and dry. Good luck. And boy are you all going to be jealous when I tell you what I got!!! I received this package on Saturday. First of all, my SSS knows how much I need containers, because she is always sending stuff in those great plastic containers! Well, I had already gotten a way kewl SSS package earlier this month and really didn't expect to get more this month!!! SSS, your too much! Anyway, imagine my surprise when I opened my package to find (drumroll here, folks!) an embossing LIGHT TABLE!!! SSS, how did you know? I had been wanting a light table FOREVER, but couldn't justify buying one! Thank you! Next, I received a dry embossing/stencil tool. I have been intrigued by this technique, but was not sure how to do it - I hear that vellum look way kewl this way (and, as Fran knows, I have tons of vellum!). My SSS also included an instruction sheet -- thanks, 'cuz this newbie needs all the help she can get! Finally, (as if I hadn't already gotten enough!!!) my SSS sent two kewl stencils - one is a beautiful flower stencil, the other is a cute stencil with party pumpkins on it! These will both go to good use, have no fear! (They are also great for using in my scrapbooking!) SSS, I still don't have any idea who you are! Thank you for being the greatest SSS in the world! Let me know if you'd like the recipe. I use the one in the Ball Blue Book for home canning, freezinf, and dehydrating. It is not difficult and it is DELICIOUS. Makes 7 pints.
