I think it costs 8.00 for the box. It appears that the manufacturer is C-Line products. Anyway, it is very thin, but you can layer it one on top of the other and so far I haven't had any problems. I just wanted to say thank you to the 3 people who created these splendid cards. Debby Gribbin- Those little girls are so cute. Did you use crystal lacquer on their ribbons? On a seafoam green textured cardstock she put a wonderful piece of fancy ribbon diagonally across the card and then mounted a piece of white paper with the stamped images of two little girls holding hands. The little girls are colored in beautifully with colored pencils. She sponged some clouds and grass. The bows on the dresses of the little girls and the ribbons on their hats look like crystal lacquer has been applied because they have an embossed feel and are shiney. She attached a wonderful charm of a butterfly on the top. On the inside she stamped "May your birthday be filled with sunshine and laughter not just today- but all the days after!". Wonderfully charming card. Liz Whittaker all the way from Australia!- oh how did you know I love magenta images! The card itself is a lovely deep maroon cardstock. She drew gold border around the entire card and then stamped using a rainbow pad on white paper the magenta stamp of the the girl playing the piano. She cut the square out and mounted it slightly tilted on the front with clear photo corners (I've never seen those used- I think I will definitely have to get some for myself!). Then on the inside she drew the same lined gold border and embossed a lovely scrolly "Happy Birthday". On the front of the envelope she stamped a really cute koala bear all dressed up ready to go traveling and a bunch of postoids. Quite the fancy return address stamp you have. Beautiful card! Janet Jasper- I never thought of mailing anything in clear boxes- what a great idea! The card itself is burgundy confetti cardstock. Towards the bottom of the card she layered a piece of red cardstock with a sun image (I believe its by Delafield- I just love it!) stamped 3 times. She trimmed the edges with fancy scissors. Set diagonally towards the top she first put a piece of tan cardstock in a rectangle the same size as the sun, then a piece of corrugated gold paper then the same sun image stamped on a deep yellow. I think she also used crystal lacquer on parts of the sun because its shiney and has an embossed feel. She punched out two small sun images on the card and placed gold foil behind them. On the inside she repeated the three suns at the bottom along with "Birthday Greetings". OH! And did I mention the same sun layered on the gold and tan she repeated in a small pin! She must have stamped the sun on shrink plastic! It is just wonderful. Thank you very much for these treats! I know my stamping friends are going to be SO jealous! Toodles. I've no idea where to begin to sell these in the US. Anyone has any ideas??? I'm always looking for ways to pay my expensive "Habit" (stamping that is, and painting too). When I get more teabags (I'm starting to run out of them at the moment, but I have some friends collecting them for me), we could always trade of course. Actually, the only way that I have done is to press them in a large book for about four days. If you try to do it while they are still fresh, they could rot and smell later even thought they are in the paper. After you get them ready (you might could use a microwave, but rose petals don't usually work out very well), (you also could use silica gel, but it is messy and the rose petals get crunchy), once you have your pulp on the screen, pull it up from the water until there is just a small amount of water on top, then sprinkle the petals on. I usually push them down with my fingers or sometimes they actually fall off when you are trying to dry the papers. Then I submerge the screen down carefully, very carefully, part way so that you get some more water on top to bond them. It works for me, hope it works for you. If you have any more questions, let me know. Let me know if you are successful too.
