She had asked me to post the TOTW and collect responses for her since she is going on a mini-vacation. While she posted to the list that she wasn't going to do a TOTW, I was emailing her telling her that I would take over for her next week. So, now that we're all confused, I'd like to announce that there WILL be a TOTW!!! The only guideline I received from her was not to discuss fabric stamping because she wanted to be in on it. I have my own ideas in mind, but Monday is three whole days away. If there's a burning question in your mind that you would like the list to answer, email me. Otherwise, come Monday, let the games begin! :) Kathy p.s. - I have resubbed just for the TOTW. I'll be on starting right now. I am just thrilled she chose me to send a card to! Beautiful rich red cardstock , sides folded in towards the center where they meet in a gate fold. 3 modern hearts stamped above each other directly over the center where the two "doors" meet and embossed in gold. All corners are cut in an elaborate way - makes me think of a fleur-de-lis, but it isn't. Marilyn, how did you do this? It's gorgeous. And to top it all off, she has punched tiny holes in the middle heart, one on each "door" so that the heart looks like a button, and she has tied the doors closed with a piece of gold cording. This is a lovely, lovely card and it's going on the mantel. Inside was a small card. This is some of what was written on it: Hello. Happy Valentine's day! This is a random act of kindness. . . Please when receiving this, remember how you felt receiving it and send a random act of kindness to someone else. I hope you have a wonderful Holiday! Thank you Marilyn, I will. Fold paper in half, and in half again in the other direction. Then TURN OVER and fold on a diagonal. Push down in the center of the paper, and fold closed. That is it. You take the five little folded squares and stack them on top of each other taping each one with double stick tape. Make a front and back cover and run a ribbon under the covers on a diagonal across the "mouth" and the folded end. Tie. I generally do random stamping on these booklets. They are really cute, and can be cut to a heart shape or clover, depending on the holiday. I like them the best though in the square.
