It is sad that they don't think of the dangers.. There has been much publicity about train jumping and cars racing trains at intersections. A major problem for railroads not only in costs, but in emptional trauma for the engineers who hit a car through no fault of their own. I have a friend in Nebraska who works as an inspector for Burlington Northern and his entire job is investigating these accidents to try to prevent them in the future, etc. (He also investigates theft, etc.) I wish every one of these kids had to listen to the families who have lost a loved one to a train accident. It seems so senseless and unnecessary. Somehow, we are forgetting to teach our kids the basics -- like it takes heavy, fast-moving trains a lonnnnnnggggg time to stop. Go forth all and EDUCATE! These are the sheer ribbons you see for $2+/yard in the nicer paper stores. Because I get these straight from the distributor, I can offer them to you at 50% of retail prices! Organza ribbons are those sheer ribbons you often see tying a vellum layer to a solid cardstock. Some people use them to tie closed books or portfolios. They are a single color, very sheer and shimmery. They are very classy ribbons. They make a fabulous SS gift, the ideas are endless... I have great colors for fall and the holidays in stock and ready to ship: Antique Gold 1" wide 1 1/2" wide Seafoam Green 1" wide 1 1/2" wide Burgundy 1" wide 1 1/2" wide Hunter Green 1" wide 1 1/2" wide Ivory 1" wide xxx The 1" wide ribbon is $0.75/yard and the 1 1/2" wide ribbon is $1.00/yard. These are very lightweight, so first class mail is only $1 (including padded mailer). I'd be happy to send them priority mail for $3.00, or regular first class. You can order in any combination you choose, but if you'd like 2 yards of each color in the 1 inch size, the price, including shipping (first class), is $8.25. Two yards of each ribbon in both sizes, including shipping, is $16.50. For Priority mail, add $2 to those prices. Because I do have these in stock, I can ship them within 24 hours of receiving your check or money order. I also do wedding flowers. It used to be part of a business i had before i opened a rubber stamp store. I now do it at home as a sideline. I love working with silks and doing complete weddings. Brides, attendents, flower girls, coursages. Everything matching and done with the same flowers. I love to do roses, lilies, freesia, wild flowers, some carnations. I hate baby's breath and do not use it. I like to use pearls, netting, and forget-me-nots as fillers. I am just finishing one today with a wedding party of six bridesmaids and a flower girl.
