It's scary how fast that 20 years has gone. How many of you stay in touch with all your high school friends? Last year, right before (actually the night before) we left to move back to AK, all of my high school buddies and I got together - one of them set it all up - we have tried to get together at least once a year, even planning picnics with all our children. We have all gone in such different directions - some have children that are almost graduating from school themselves, and others, like me, are just starting families. It's so much fun seeing each other - and most of us are still as wild and crazy as we used to be! You should go..... Cool! My SS sent me a copy of the first issue of Somerset Studio via Ann B. in Montana. I got it a couple of days ago, but have had technical difficulties so I couldn't post. Anyway, this is a great magazine! I hadn't seen it yet, and I've just had a chance to glance over it, though I did see a couple of cards by Lisa K. Thompson (yay Lisa!) and Tracey's story about Jacob. (Hugs to Tracey!) Anyway, thank you ever so much to my super sweet SS, and thanks to Ann for sending it, and thanks to Frank and Janet for putting up with us, and thanks to the academy......you get the idea! Between life and my server, I managed to get kept away from the list for about 48 hours. I'm now zombie-eyed from reading 700 posts, but at least I'm not dealing with list withdrawl. Actually, my cat had even worse list withdrawl. She loves the computer and especially loves e-mail, because she sleeps on my lap while I read it. She kept telling me it was time to check the list, and I kept telling her I couldn't--and that didn't go over well with her at all. Anyway! Hopefully, I haven't been bouncing messages or anything obnoxious. I'm not totally sure what's going on with my server, but I think they're doing some kind of upgrade that will ideally make my life easier if it doesn't drive me crazy (short trip!) in the meantime. RE the cards looking for good homes.....I've been faithfully stuffing envelopes. Some are out, some have been received, some are waiting to go out. And I may get more tomorrow. (Does the mail come tomorrow?) If you are about to ask if there are still cards available--the answer is sort of. If you haven't sent an SASE in already, I may be out by the time I get them. If you have sent it in, you'll get at least some cards. I will probably also send some of this extra paper I've got lying around. If you ever want to feel popular (and have your mailbox feel popular), offering cards is a good way to go! :) I'm starting to babble. Sorry about that. I'm going to bed!!! See Below for my discount Confetti & Watercolor are in Price Code A: Suggested Retail- $12 for 50 sheets $22 for 100 sheets Natural Burlap is in Price Code B: Suggested Retail- $14.00 for 50 sheets $26.00 for 100 sheets And FYI, Anything in Price Code C is: $16.00 for 50 sheets $30.00 for 100 sheets MY discount is as follows: 10% off orders over $50 (but I'm running a special in February -- all paper & custom stamp orders will be discounted 10% through end of Feb.). 15% off orders over $100 25% off orders over $300 I am pretty flexible with these discounts and would be happy to work with you if you plan to order lots of goodies! I have to order minimum quantities to get the wholesale prices, so I always welcome new customers. If I get a really large order on month, I am happy to pass on the extra savings to everyone who participates. Also, I carry my own paper stock that is sometimes similar to CPG items for a lot less. For example, I have a "Sand Speckle" that is very close to the Cream Confetti -- 50 sheets for $8.00. If you want my RubberD paper samples, send me your snail mail and I'll send those samples. Not as many to choose from, but a good value. Let me know !
