I said by the 30th. So far I have added at least 50 NEW people to our wonderful list and I am still working through the e-mails for changes and deletes. I am almost there, just a little more patience please. Just a reminder for those that are new, the list will come to your e-mail personaly addressed, it will NOT be posted to the rubberstampers list. It will probably be 6 messages as it keeps growing, the reason it is broken down into so many messages is to accomodate those that their e-mail does not allow attachments, this way everyone gets it the same way. Once I have sent the messages to everyone, I will send a single message to the rubberstampers list announcing that I have finished distributing the list. If at that time you do not receive it, please let me know and I will resend it to you. If you do not receive it, it is usually because for some reason I have the wrong e-mail address, or your mail box is full. It happens!!! I got this wonderful box filled with goodies, and I was totally surprised!! When we were given our new SS's, I e-mailed mine, (under a secret screen name), and let her know how I was looking foward to spoiling her for the next 6 months.I have yet to get a response from her, and just dismissed from my mind about the whole SS thing, not thinking that I had an SS who was going to send to me. I was so thrilled when the post lady brought this box to my door!! The box was themed, Bee's! It included a rollagraph with bee's and honey comb, a hand made behive wood pin, a brass stencil of a behive and bee's, a stamp that says Bee Happy by Stampendous, some bee stickers, a hand painted clay flower pot, with wooden flowers and a bee (very cute), a bee brass charm, a little hannd made note book with a big bee "person" that she stamped, colered, laminated, and layered on the cover on top of some yellow and black b.g. paper, over the gloss black stock that the book was made from, it is a match book style (also very cute} a stamp that says"With the smallest sedd of faith, all things are possible" by Ann-ticipations, a stamp that says" If you haven't anything nice to say to someone, come and sit next to me" by Expressions by Impressions (funny!!) and a small purple inkit pad, and a beartifully made gift bag, made from a lunch sack, sponged with pinks, whites, and gold. She cut out a heart from fabric, and embellished the front of the bag with this. This is a pretty bag my dear!! All this wrapped in a tissue paper of natural b.g. color, with bee's on it. Then, to top this all, she included a book about Wedding flower arrangements!!!!!!! WOW! As some may know, my daughter is getting married in Oct, and she was soooooooooooo thoughtful in sending me this beautiful book. I just can not thank you enough!!!! I feel so special, and pampered!! And last, but not least, a stamped card, with a mouse, hanging from streamers brightly colored, with some real curled streamers cascading down the fron of the card, and inside stamped several times, to my secret pal. Now, to answer your questions. The colors of the wedding are brown, ivory, and gold. I am wearing med, slightly rust brown dress. My weirdest stamp....hmmmmmm................that would have to be the one by Ruby Red Rubber, which is a pair of fat legs that end into a butt, with a bunch of pins sticking out of it. I think it represents "a pain in the butt"?? Silly stamp. They have a very funny stamp that I want to get, it is a "mad" looking woman with long fingernails holding a stapler. Too funny. They have a display card, that has her , with the stamped caption" Say it is PMS, and I will staple your balls to the table", and the card has been stapled all over the edge!!Most of their stamps are too weird for me, but that one is a must have!! Stamp companies that I love................Stampourrie, Carmen's Varanda, some Stampa Barbara, more that the companies themselves, I have taken a liking to stamps that can be made "functional", of "dimensional friendly", as well as household fixtures, and accessories. I am a technical nut, and love to try to "make thing work". A favorite list vendor.......I have bee very financially strapped this whole year, and have not been able to buy much for myself, so I have not done any ordering at all. I see so many great deals, and specials go by, and I just sigh.............All extra $$ has had to go to the wedding, and that is still a scorce of stress, as there is still several $$$$ to go, and it is coming too slow!! But, I know God will provide!!! I want to thank you again for the wonderful box of treasures, it has made my week!! BTW, I do not of course know what server you are on, but are you able to have a "secret screen name"? It would be so great to be able to e-mail eachother. Can I send you cards to the return addy on the box? Have a great day!! I got my WIld Fiber from Jutta, the colors are so neat. I can't wait to try this stuff out! Also thanks for the prices on wood as there are still some stamps that I need to mount that way! I also received the swap cards from the buttons and bows, the wildlife and the checkered swaps. They are all incredible! I will post more on those later, promise!!! As if that wasn't enough I got my order from Tonya of Buffalo Stampede. I love all the um and she even threw in a bonus one, love the design too! Plus, yes theres more but remember this is a good weeks worth, I got my free um from Tonya and will be starting my cards tomorrow! This is such fun! Oh, and I got my magnets from Bonnie, they are so cute! Seems like there was even more but I can't remember so sorry if I left anything or anyone out! After 8 long months since they broke ground on our house and 5 weeks of my cabinets just sitting around in the house and being used as saw horses etc by the workers, I finally have cabinets in my kitchen! Yes, there are some problems but we'll get through them. I'm just so very happy that they are actually hanging up on the wall. Still, we are far from done. The house could be done in two weeks if our builder had his act together but at his pace it'll be much longer yet. They only work about 10 hours a week. Argh!!!! but, this is supposed to be a happy post, I promised myself I wouldn't unload and that I'd focus on the good stuff about the house so for today anyway, I'll celebrate my cabinets!!!!! Plus it means I'm that much closer to having more room to spread out with my stamping!!! What I did find are postoids that are tropical in theme. Paradise Post has: E260 - A postoid that says "Hey, if I could just sit around & stamp all day, I'd be in PARADISE!" 1" X 2" E56 - Two hibiscus blossoms 1.5" X 1.5" D359 - An art deco orchid. 1" X 1.5" F21 - Seashells & a star fish. 1.25" X 2.5" F22 - Seashells (different than above, but coordinating) 1.25" X 2.5" E73 - Seashells (different than either above, but coordinating) 1" X 2" E74 - Two large starfish 1.5" X 1.75" E78 - One large starfish - triangular postoid 2.25"w X 1.25"h E191 - A large heart centered over leaves. The leaves remind me of the Hawaiian quilt designs that are created by folding a paper into fourths, cutting the design out, then unfolding it and all four quarters of the quilt are identical. 1.5" X 1.5" D 354 - Hummingbird 1.25" X 1.25" F 53 - A tropical fish 2" X 2" A169 - Not a postoid, but a word stamp that says "Posta Papaya" 1.5"l B218 - A word stamp that says "Sun, Sky, Sand & Sea" 2.25"l Also, all shapes and sizes of empty postoid frames so that you could pick your own design, then frame it with these and create your own postoid. Unmounted Only A = $1.50 B = $2.00 D = $3.00 E = $3.50 F = $4.00 S/H = $2.00 Catalog $3.00 Paradise Post P.O. Box 2734 Florence, Oregon 97439 I don't know whether any vendors on the list carry this company, or whether you would need to order directly. When I ordered their catalog they were very speedy in sending it to me. I haven't ordered anything from them yet, but plan on doing so. Hope this helps! Pretty much a basic sugar cookie cut into rounds, hole cut out of top cookie. Filling sandwiched between, then baked.
