I got my WIld Fiber from Jutta, the colors are so neat. I can't wait to try this stuff out! Also thanks for the prices on wood as there are still some stamps that I need to mount that way! I also received the swap cards from the buttons and bows, the wildlife and the checkered swaps. They are all incredible! I will post more on those later, promise!!! As if that wasn't enough I got my order from Tonya of Buffalo Stampede. I love all the um and she even threw in a bonus one, love the design too! Plus, yes theres more but remember this is a good weeks worth, I got my free um from Tonya and will be starting my cards tomorrow! This is such fun! I received a couple of things in the mail yesterday (when it finally arrived! The mailman was running three hours late!) I received the "Button Book" that I got in the Baggie Love-In...Thanks, Lisa and Terri!!! AND I received the Stampin' Up Swap... some of the cards have already been described better than I could ever do describe them.... Maureen - glossy white cardstock with the bottom scalloped...the angel face with the watermelon mounted in the top center with foam tape. On either side is a ribbon rose mounted on star charms. Green and pink polka-dot background paper, lace and ribbons finish it off. Cara - On white cardstock she has embossed the right edge with the swirl from Fabulous Flourishes in pink. She trimmed the edge along the swirl, and then stenciled stripes so it showed along the edge...in the center is layered a piece of corrugated pink paper and then the saying "Thinking of You" also embossed in pink. geevee - A card done with the Angel in Flight set....white cardstock layered with burgundy and pinkish beige...ripple cut edges...on the burgundy is the saying "May your heart be light like an angel in flight" embossed in white. On the beige are clouds embossed in white and glittered. On the clouds she mounted the angel with foam tape....to finish off the card she used a piece of see-through ribbon. Harriet - white cardstock speckled with a rainbow pad, Krayola Kids stamped in the bottom left, they are holding balloons that reach to the upper left...Crayon in the lower right and stars on the upper right...then she cut a rectangle about one inch inside as a border, leaving it connected wherever the stamps overlapped. A piece of dark pink writing paper on the inside shows through....Stamped in the center in the saying "You Did It!" Terri Bradbury - used the "One in a Melon" set. She started with white cardstock and sponged on red and green ink...then on white writing paper hand wrote the word 'watermelon' in red all across it. over this she mounted the watermelon girl, the watermelon and crow and the saying "You're one in a 'melon'!" And Jo included an image of the Fleur Cart and a Um....mine is a lizard of some sort....... Is she still doing this. I thought her projects were terrific. Did anyone save the projects that she sent to the list? Could you forward them to me. I would really like to use them for new card ideas. All I have is the ones sent on June 26th. I would really appreciate this, thanks! Stay Happy and Healthy! Several people came back with the comment that they are highly allergic, or that strong scents just bother them, and they would not want that part of it. Maybe a questions on scented gifts might be useful. I hope you and your daughter are doing well. Has she started back to school yet and, if so, what grade is she going into? Hmm, I've been wondering; what sort of work do you do? And, since you sent me some info from AOL's Jewish bulletin board, are you Jewish? I received my August package today and wanted to tell you thank you so very much! I absolutely love the Judikins Mystique and Aqua Sparkle embossing powders. I haven't ever seen either of these before and they are both wonderful colors! They would both make such great eps for use with underwater scenes, don't you think? Or with my fantasy stamps! Right now, I'm really enjoying working with those categories of images. Oh, these little stamps are wonderful! I really like the teeny tiny pot and oh, there is a little flower stamp which can *go in the pot*! How cute! Hee, and a little ice cream cone! I'm trying to loose weight.. so, this is my kind of treat right now! Awful time for my DH and I to try and loose weight... his birthday, my mother's birthday, our oldest daughter's birthday, and my birthday all occur within this same two month period! More goodies for my underwater scenes! Great shark confetti! And, I have some shaker cards to make, too. Good timing, SSS! A Happy Hanukkah stamp from All Night Media! How wonderful! I should get on the ball and start making my cards now! Maybe, if I *make* myself find the time, I can get in on the Hanukkah swap. Right now my youngest, Jacob, and I are recovering from infections... he has the flu and me, well, I ended up with this awful systematic ear infection... went into my lymph nodes.. my neck and face swelled up... awful! I haven't been stamping in the last few days.... :( BUT, I'm getting quite a bit better and feeling more chipper today. Maybe I can get Jacob comfortable and then I can do some stamping! I LOVE STIPPLE BRUSHES! Inspired by Janet/Mom's wonderful stippling, I recently purchased a couple from Jutta (Great service, Jutta!) but only got one of her number 6s! Your note says its best to have a brush for each color; Thank you very much! And, a stipple stencil! I haven't used one of these yet; I'll have to play with this! Thank you for sending me an example on the front of your note. Okay, Jacob, you are getting very very sleepy... it's nap time for you and play time for Mommy (yeah, right... he hasn't napped in 6 months... not even when he's ill... just climbs in my lap and cuddles for some quiet time :) Speaking of cuddling, I better go give him some; he's looking pretty peaked over there all alone! Thanks so very much, SS! Please take care and I look forward to our next four months together!
