The one with Princess Diana(RIP) on the cover. On page 8 is a small article about college teams with bad mascots. We are not alone in are crazy slug ways. The University of California, Sta. Curz has the Banana Slugs as their mascot. The article even shows a picture of the mascot emblem. Be sure to get a copy, if you can't let me know I'll send you a copy of the article. One from Dianne Knapp: She sent me lots of examples for cards, plus 2 cards which she made herself, really beautiful. She also sent me lots of stamped images of teacups and teapots, which I'm dying to use as I don't have any tea-stamps myself. She also sent me a napkin with beautiful teacups on it, plus freezerwrap so I can iron the on. (we don't have freezer wrap over here, so it was very welcome). And really cool 3D vinyl, which I'd never seen before. I'm seeing all kinds of posibilities here. Thanks Dianne. The other package was from Debra Nielsen: She sent me 12 UMs!! Great ones! And also a neat Winnie the Pooh freezer magnet which she made herself, really very beautiful. I'm still deciding whether to stick it on my freezer or save it in my box with all the cards that I've received since I'm on this list. Also this week was my birthday and my mother gave a rollagraph holder, plus wheel, plus ink cartridge. I also gor some gift certificates which I could spend at our local craftstore, and which I immedialety did. I bought 2 more wheels and 2 more ink cartridges. My kids gave me 2 nicely decorated boxes to put my stamp stuff in. (They're full already). So, this week has been pretty good for me. I was very proud of her two sons, and her brother's speech was excellent, with such an undertone of anger and determination. The things that brought me most to tears, though, were the people in the crowd...so many overcome with grief, men and women openly weeping, throwing flowers in front of the procession. And the flag at half mast...a history making day. It was well worth getting up for. I would like to see Elton John donate the future proceeds of the sale of his song to Diana's varous charities. Maybe he'll do it. The commentators said that Prince Charles would probably become King. I thought he wasn't allowed to because he's divorced...but times change. I must be tired...I'm rambling. Things have really been busy around here for the past couple of weeks. Hopefully, I will be able to caught up this week. To make matters worse RSM still has not made it to Lubbock, Texas. I have called them several times and they just keep saying it is on it's way. Supposedly, it was sent out two and half weeks ago and has just gotten stopped somewhere along the way. At least a friend received her copy the other day so I could see the article but I want one for myself. I have been patiently waiting but I am getting impatient. It will take a long time to use this much. If you saw the article on page 40 of the current Rubber Stamper magazine you will note that it is mentioned. It is used in the process of making the tiles Suze does. I bought some in Portland and haven't had time to use it yet! Maybe he'll do it. I saw Elton John being interviewed by Barbara Walters last night and I'm pretty sure he said that the proceeds from this song would go to a "Princess Diana Trust Fund" and used for her charities. Did anyone else see it? TheresaE Grieving for the loss of two beautiful women. How do you do this > and how do you arrange. Hi, Store your plastic sheet protectors in a binder. When completed, you will have a piece of white copy paper inside the protector sheet, with a vertical line of stamped images. A piece of hook will be vertically attached to the left (or the right) of your stamped images on the outside of the protector sheet, and the matching UM will sit on the hook next to the stamped image. You can either arrange your sheets by company or category. Both ways have advantages. You could also buy divider sheets once you have a lot of UMs. I don't have that many, so I just write the name of the company on top of the paper. I use both sides of the protector sheet to store UMs. I've found the best way to do this is to place my UMs on the page in a vertical line, and then plan for a duplicate line across the page. The first time I did it I tried to plan by eye, and I didn't allow enough room for the UM and the stamped image.
