Wow! What a great bunch of cards! As always, I am sincerely impressed and humbled. I will try to do them justice in my descriptions. A black-embossed moonface on goldenrod cardstock mounted on black cardstock that had small glittery spirals embossed on the sky with a pathway on hillsides(I love this stamp) embossed in grey, touched with gold. This black cardstock is edged in gold and cut with fancy scissors. This then was mounted to goldenrod cardstock that had the small spirals stamped in gold as a background. Very elegant card by drewtoon. A very cool sun with face embossed in gold on cream cardstock attached to a white card that has been sponged and stippled(?) in peach and blue. Equinox greeting is stamped in the center and underneath textured blued stamp of a sky with a moon and moth. Very interesting textures and contrasts by Suki. A fuschia circle with a gold-embossed sun/stars and a navyblue rectancle with silver-embossed moon and stars mounted to cream cardstock imprinted with fall leaves. Over the leaves is a clear, raised drizzled-on neat stuff that makes the leaves look like they are under raindrops. Is this stuff envirotex or 3-D something or other? It is a really neat effect by Rosie Claeys. A burgundy embossed sun on oatmeal cardstock and a burgundy-embossed planet/moon also on oatmeal cardstock, both attached to eggplant card stock with fiskars edging attache to a large oatmeal cardstock that has been stamped with leaves in various gradations of shading. Also on the card are strips of fancy edged eggplant cardstock that complement the design. The composition of this card is very artistic by Deb Evans Braun. Last but not least, a card from our hostess Nancy Hall Johnson. Nan's own cube stamps of a sun and a moon/star and a leaf affixed to nutmeg cardstock that had been imprinted with felicitous equinox, a big star with spiral and the coolest equinox stamp. The funny thing about that last stamp is that when I saw it, I thought that is a cool stamp, I may just have to have it, but I don't recall seeing it in Nan's catalog. Then, out of the envelope dropped a present from Nan, an unmounted of this very stamp. Thank you, Nan! Thank goodness I checked my post!! Of all posts for AOL to screw up!! I'm sure EVERYONE is convinced that I'm totally off my rocker, out of my mind, twisted and any other adjective that could describe an unstable person that would post an apology and forget to apologize!!! (Hey, come to think of it I guess I am missing a few marbles!!) Well THANKS AOL! (I'm beginning to get a little paronoid here, maybe it's...it's....AOL WHO'S OUT TO GET ME!!!) Well here is the REST of the post (I"m sure you've all veen waiting with baited breath, right?! Hello to ALL!! (this is a little long) I've just logged on and haven't read any posts yet. It seems that I have unintentionally stirred up a hornets nest by disturbing the order of things here on the board. My SINCEREST apologies for answering your posts to the list, it's just that some of them were SO funny that I thought some people might enjoy reading them (can you imagine imortalizing a LOUSE in rubber?!). I also thought that because the content was rubberstamp related that it wasn't a TAN as I was told I should have included on the Subject : line. I also included the persons name on the Subject: line so people would know to skip the post if they wanted to! (I guess I BLEW that too, boy am I a BAD GIRL!!!) ALSO in my computer ignorance, I thought that the note I was answering would be automatically attached to my post! (you might have noticed I haven't been on here much) WRONG again!! (I knew I should have taken that Internet course at the community College!) I feel like the kid in the grocery cart that pulls a jar out from the middle of the display of Spaghetti sauce the Manager just finished setting up! (OOPS! I'm a VERY bad girl!!!) I've been accused of Advertising and not including COMM in the Subject: line (Boy, if I'm advertising, I'd better get my act in gear! I only have about 300 more illustrations to go!!) But REALLY I am truly sorry if ,in my ignorance I ruffled any feathers, it wasn't my intention. I do have to say that if the first person who complained to me hadn't been so kurt and hadn't assumed that I was doing it intentionally, it never would have gotten to this point to begin with! (I take more kindly to friendly advice then to a slap on the wrist!) ONE MORE THING!! (I promise to keep it short!) There has been alot of bitterness here lately in general! I was shocked because I had been off for several weeks because of computer trouble, and there was a noticable CHANGE in the atmosphere on the list! GOSH, THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN GUYS!! Isn't life complicated enough without LOOKING for conflict?? I will again apologize for answering anyone on the list that E-Mailed me privately, I really didn't know, but my feeling is, Public or Private, if you don't like conflict then make sure you are treating people with the same respect you expect to be treated with! I won't read any more posts on the OPINION PLEASE subject line from this point (I don't enjoy the sight of my own blood EVERYWHERE, it spoils my day!) unless the word "FRIEND" appears in the Subject line! Thanks to all who have taken the time to share their ideas with me, I'd love to hear more !!! It's been FUN!! Talk to you soon! It is a PSX stamp (friendship is the wine of life) stamped on cream, embossed and coloured, layered on burgundy then layered on a navy blue card with a fine burgandy ribbon on two of the corners. Then she had written a lovely note on the inside of the card. I can't wait until I receive my package (yeah right and stampers can't wait! LOL).
