I really treasure these, I have been = looking at them for quite awhile. This was way to GENEROUS! *handmade soap by my sss' sister! Wow, talent is truly a family thing, I = love the way it is wrapped and it smells divine! (it is aloe vera, and I = am going to use tonight!) *a collection of fall seals - now this was very special to me SSS, = because when I was a little girl I used to scour the aisles of my local = "Drews Variety Store" and bought these kinds of stickers all the time. I = haven't seen them in forever, so this if very dear to me, as it recalls = those misspent days of youth! *LOVELY handmade envelopes, made from ads of Turkish rugs, wow you are = great! How did you ever line these up? And the "no postage necessary if = never mailed" is way too fun! (there are 6 of these, and all are so = beautiful!) *My SSS knows I "dab" in the Eastern Philosophies cause there is this = real cool herbal tea - wild sweet orange and also a very fragrant stick = of incense which will be burned this weekend, can hardly wait! *Next is some FUN tissue, with leopard spots and some w/ zebra stripes = and some black (perfect for the fall) I LOVE this stuff, wherever did = you find it, Jutta is going to be so jealous, she loves jungle stuff... *Creating Keepsakes mag, YEAH! I'm sorry that I'm posting this note kind of late (I got the package last Wednesday, but I didn't open it until Friday,(I wouldn't let myself open it'til I had gotten the out to my SSS !!)... And since then I've been trying to figure out who you are!!! I have been going over the list you included, (I know they are Swaps, and I know you didn't host them all), trying to go through all the posts I have saved trying to see which ones have one person in common!!! What a task!!! I am "organized" but in a very curious way.. I must have three or four copies of my main filing cabinet from AOL. (When I get bogged down and behind on my mail, I move the file to a zip disk so that I can preserve it and go back to it when I have time).. anyway, I think I have gathered together lots of clues and I'm ready to make a guess!!! I'm going to send a private E-mail to the person I think you are... Well,SSS you shouldn't apologized for not including anything hand made in my September package!!! The paper the box was wrapped in is handstamped ALL OVER with wonderful Postoids... And it is a very big box!!! I'd call that handmade... I love the way it looks... what a great idea... I have quite a few postoid stamps and I think I'm going to "steal" this idea!! Anyway, on to thanking you for the wonder box of goodies that you sent me :-D!!!!! I Love the animal theme that you chose for September.. and for including something special for my dogs... but more on that later... The stamps you chose are wonderful and they make wonderful additions to my growing collection!!! The zebra stamp from RSA is great... I have some wonderful ideas on what to do with him/her... And the Peace on Earth Animal Tree from Art Gone Wild will be fun to play with all year round, not just for Christmas!!! And of course the great quote from Aristotle "Nature does nothing uselessly" is perfect!!! It will be well used!!! or should I say used well!!???! I have been looking at the Mostly Animals catalog for quite sometime, I picked it up and put it down several times in the past months, then when I had made up my mind to actually buy it, the store where I saw it had sold out!!!! I guess fate was lending a hand here, cause now I have my very own thanks to you!!! Thank you!! Thank you!! I love the Safari tissue that you used for wrapping, that defiantly goes in my pile of "keeper" paper. I just love paper!!! And I love the "M" bead... I will have to find just the right way to use it!!! And of course the Animal Crackers... who doesn't like Animal crackers they just happen to be one of my favorite cookies... Boy do they bring back memories!!!! Thank you!! Being the tease that I am, (I read your note first, and knew that there was something in the box for my dogs) As they watched, I slowly took one thing out of the box at a time, and unwrapped each item, slowly.... They KNEW that somewhere in that great big box there was something special just for them.... with each new packaged taken out and opened and showed to them, thier excitement grew!!!! When I got to the Animal crackers, they thought "surely that must be what is for us!!", But I said NO NO NO, I don't think so!!!!... Finally, I came to the biggest box inside... I shook it slightly, showed it to them, and asked if they thought this one could be it!!! Well, they could hardly contain themselves while I open the wrapping.. I showed them the box and let them sniff it and then I opened the box and gave them each one of the Meaty Bones you sent to them.. First they Wolfed them down and then they Woofed an big THANK YOU to you, my wonderful SSS.. Thank you so much for all for the wonderful gifts you sent to me this month... I do not have any color sheets because you have to place your first order before they send them. Hmmmmmm.... They do have a 216 color set, but you have to second mortgage your house to purchase it. The lady told me it was for PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS, I guess we are chopped liver. Well, she was a very nice lady anyhow. The 144 color set, you only have to mortgage PART of your house. It retails for 424.80. We will give a 20% discount on this one, plus free shipping. Believe it or not, she said that their prices will go up as of October 31st. Their colors are listed according to percentages. It has to do with pigment. 100% is strong pigment, all the way down to 10% which is my favorite. It is what they call a hue. The only way to get the hues is to purchase a set of 12, retails for 33.00, or a set of 25 hues, which sells for 68.75 retail. The hues are not in the 144 set. The 144 set has 100% colors, 60% colors, 20% colors, and their accent colors. You can also get a set of 12 flesh tones for 33.00. I know that this is a lot to digest. We are only going to carry sets. From now to October 20 we will discount them 20% and free shipping on anything over 100.00. But know that there are 6 different sets of 12, 7 different sets of 25 and 4 different sets of 50, 50 set retails for 137.50, all based on percentage of color. To keep from going on and on, if you want any more informatin on the sets, email me direct and I will do everything that I can to explain fully. They said it takes them 7 days to fill an order after they get it and then the time back to me and then to you. I figure about 3 weeks all told. He was admitted in the hospital on Sunday for bad asthma and he is still there. They had him on oxegen last night and as long as he does'nt need oxegen tonight he will be able to come home tommorrow and we can give him his breathing treatments here. I'm a very worried momma right now. So please bear with me about answering mail. I promise I will save all mail and read it when I get a chance. But, Right now my husband and I have been taking turns at the hospital because we don't want to leave him there by himself. I'm so upset now. I hope he will be O.K. I promise that even through this I will keep on top of my orders and business matters. Business is kind of slow right now any way. But, That is for the best. I'll let you know how he is doing. Thanks in advance for prayers for Andrew.
