Sender: owner-rubbertown@xmission.com Precedence: bulk Reply-To: Sargies@aol.com Hello everyone....I know its been awhile but had to get things thought thru and decessions (sp?) had to be made about the business ....meaning that to stay going and drown further or step out and get a float....Things are tough here and everywhere it seems...Business wise and Personally...this is to inform and get things straight... First I would like to say that I started this to save people money that enjoyed the samething I did...I didnt do this to make great amounts of money .... Little did I know that I bit off more then I can chew...meaning I should have asked tons of questions first...I have done alot of business with other vendors and should have asked their advise on what and what not to do...giving great discounts is great and made me happy to do it for others...but then it ends up that you cant keep afloat always offering great deals when you have companies that have Stamp ordering min then not being able to sell them ...then before you know it you have tons of instock stamps that are collecting dust and your business cant stay afloat for this is money , money I would general make as profit I put back into the business (something I didnt mind )...I would say I generally made maybe 10 to 15% profit and put it straight back into those stamp min...thinking that when I sold them then I would see some profit not for money sake but to be able to buy what the business needed like shipping supplies etc....well it doesnt happen that way...I can say that I probably have quite alot of money sitting here. But things happen and I did not do the best a few months back now I have stamps and the black ink has become RED and I am out personally quite a bit of money...not complaining or whining just a lesson learned well and no one to blame but myself......so it is best right now that I close down shop for a while due to not only the business part but havent been in the best of health and personal stress ...dont want to get into what it all is but its been a tough year for me first diagnosed with Chronic Depression, second moved 3000 miles away from all that I have known (harder then I thought even as an adult) Military life as far as not getting paid when should and not getting paid at all a personal stress..Bad experience with PSX a very big misunderstanding with that Company on their part (only did go back with the due to customers wanting the product ) Letting all this compound. ..Slow business on my part is due to no one but my own ...letting things affect me and my business and not producing as I would like or should have for all of this I am very sorry and dont blame anyone for any ill feelings ...But this was not my heart I have a few orders that are still waiting to get delivered and these will go out...also I have a few back order things that also will be done...I May do some ordering in a few month maybe longer for those of my customers that request it...but I will not be doing anymore ads for the time being if again at all..being not able to give my all has caused me much stress and affected things greatly...I am not only posting to this list but am also mailing out letters to all of my customers of this information...Again I am sorry for any misunderstandings that have been made...there is a few things that have been said that I wont go into but always remember there are two sides to every story ......All orders placed with me will be shipped , refunded or traded for stuff I do have in STock...and no order will be made until all this is done .... like I said before If I do decide to sell again at all...All that I ask is for the time to make it up to you that have ordered and been disappointed...There is alot of things that we all have or suffer from that others dont know about here on the computer ...but one thing we all have to remember is that we are all human and make mistakes and I am here to admit to mine and fix them....thanks for listening ... I promise I'll take good care of it, treat it as if it were my own, and return it promptly when I'm finished. Pleeeeeaasssee??? I'd get down on my knees but I'd probably never be able to get up again. Which reminds me...I've never given a shower before and I'm completely clueless. I never really paid attention at all the showers I've been to, including my own. All I remember is all that cake. I absolutely hate stupid shower games but I want to have something to do...any ideas? This is gonna happen in the next 3-4 weeks so I've got to get busy. I'd sure appreciate any help, ideas, loaner stamps, cash, whatever. Thanks! Howdy Y'all! For as long as I can remember I've loved doing all sorts of crafts. My closets are almost bursting with things that I 'had to have' or were 'a great deal'. I've toyed with the idea of doing my crafts and putting them in a craft mall, but I was afraid that it would turn the joy I received from crafting into a chore. So my next logical choice was to sell the supplies to other craft lovers like myself. Rather than becoming a rubber stamp vendor and competing with all of the wonderful online vendors that we have, I decided to become a vendor that carries many of the different things that I like to do. And Lone Star Craft Supplies was born. The first baby step of my business will be in rubber stamps. I have been watching, reading and learning from all of the posts about vendors lately and feel the time is right for me. My first 'commercial' post will follow this one. My plan is *only* to take orders from this one company, complete it, get a system down and then SLOWLY add more companies. My son is busy designing the web page for me and as soon as it's ready I'll share the URL with everyone. He's just as excited about this as I am! The regular discount for the companies I'll carry will be 25% and I will offer specials occasionally, especially for opening orders. I have also come up with "The Dallas Dozen", enabling stampers to earn free stamps. Everyone knows that things are bigger in Texas, including a dozen! For every 12 stamps you buy from Lone Star you will receive one stamp free (based on the average price of the previous 12). Very simple....and I'll even do the paperwork and keep track of it for you! It doesn't get any better than this! I hope that everyone will give me a chance and I'm sure that you'll be pleased. As soon as some more of the information that I've requested comes in and more decisions are made, I'll be adding quilt and cross stitch supplies to my business. Stay tuned! ~ lupie ~ aka elizabeth herman ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
