I understand why skin-so-sort removes sticky stuff and makes hinges stop squeaking and why it would condition wood and so forth. But I don't understand why it helps kill fleas...I am thinking they just "slip off " of the hairs because they are so oily and they can't hang on. (Not really, but I like the picture this conjures up in my mind.) Does it cut off the air to the fleas? Does it kill them or make them leave? Sorry..I am just interested in fleas lately. I noticed that they come to the surfact when my dog naps. I found out that this is because they like to be on moving objects..that they start looking for a new home if the animal is too still because they "think?" it might be sick, dead or dying. My former dog excreted her own sort of oil that made the fleas leave her alone....in which case, perhaps frequent baths are not helping my dog get rid of fleas because her oils may be getting dried up or something. Just the ravings of a person who should be sleeping right now! Jonni Whenever you think that you are facing a contradiction, check your premises. You will find that one of them is wrong. Another thing is using watercolor pencils that run smoother that regular colored pencils... You can always smooth the color more with a damp brush...or my favorite tool...a Q-tip...!!... Hope this helps..... Baggie rushed these out to me too so that I could finish my calendar pages. There was a spot that cried out for a mouse. Ph Testing pen - $5.00 This will test your paper for acidity. For the most precise test tear the paper to expose the inner fibers. Some papers are washed in a buffering solution that can wear away, exposing the acidic core. From Linco Metallic Pens $1.50 These are fine line (.3mm) ball point pens with a gel ink. Water resistant, fade proof and acid free. The ink dries fairly quickly. Slow enough so that you could pop some clear embossing powder on, but not so slow that it's annoying. The ink goes on very smoothly. From Pentel.
