Thanks to all that joined in the fun, you all did a fantastic job of your stickers. It was so much fun opening the envelopes as they arrived!!!!!!!!!! BTW... I am returning envelopes to those that sent a SASE. I needed the US stamps to be loose so I could trade them for Canadian stamps. This is no problem though, you dont have to send me anything!!:) I wanted to get them back to you so you could use them for something else. Well her goes...... Tama Clark: These stickers are about 3x3". They have a stamped image of a bear holding a large heart. The bear is embossed with copper EP and has spot color on his paws and bow. The heart is embossed with puffy red EP. Very cute! Thanks! Neena May: These stickers are about 4x6". The background is colored with light blue pencil crayon. On the bottom half of the sticker is a stamped "Precious Moment" angel playing a harp. She is also colored with pencils. In the top right hand corner is a star embossed with gold EP. Beside it is the saying "Forget Me Not" embossed with Iredescent peacock EP. Very Pretty, thanks! Eva Koyama: Eva used a brown sticker paper that almost looks like freezer paper (I love it!) She stamped a large bow and embossed it with a black Ep with rainbow glitter in it. Very nice, thanks! Barbara Simpson: Barbara used a bright orange sticker paper (where are you guys getting these great colors???). The sticker is cut out with pointy fancy scissors (now was that a lame description of the scissors or what!!!????LOL). In the center is a stamped image of a hyroglyphic-type man playing a horn. It is embossed with copper EP. Very striking, thanks! Ellen Smith: Ellen used a "Precious Moment" stamp too. She stamped a little girl standing holding an umbrella. Hearts are raining all around her. The image is embossed with black Ep and colored in with bright felt pens. The little hearts are filled with red glitter. The puddle also has iridescent glitter in it. Very cute, thanks! Geevee: You went all out for my swap. Thanks!!!!!! Sticker 1: This 4x4" sticker has the stamp "a Prayer For The Day" stamped in purple. Silver glitter frames the prayer. The corners of the frame are done in deep purple. Very nice, thanks! Sticker 2: This 3x4" sticker is half colored with orange and half with purple. In the center is a sun embossed with gold EP. The tips of its rays have spots of blue and gold glitter on them. A box surrounds the sun that is embossed with gold EP. It has large spots of dark blue and gold glitter. Very striking, thanks! Sticker 3: This sticker is about 5x5". On the sticker paper is a layer of purple mulberry paper with the edges feathered. Centered on this is a piece of white paper with the edges cut with fancy scissors. Stamped is an image of an angel sniffing some flowers. She is colored with felt pens. This sticker has glitter everywhere. It just glistens!!!! Under the angel is the saying "Live well, laugh often, love much!" It is covered with black glitter. Very beautiful, thanks! Michelle Wolle: Michelle went "beyond the call of duty" too. Instead of sending 5 individual stickers, she send 5 sheets of stickers. Each sheet has 15 round stickers on it. The stickers are stamped with "sealed with a fish" and colored with pencil crayons. I love this stamp!!!!! Thanks very much! Kimberlee Dick: Boy do I think my stickers are lame compaired to the ones that were submitted.... Sticker 1: Stained glass image with grapes and vines in it. The image is colored with felt pens and framed with gold glitter. The image is embossed with black EP. Sticker 2: Stained glass image with 3 butterflies on it. The image is embosssed with silver EP and colored with felt pens. The window is framed with gold and silver glitter. Many thanks to everyone! I had a lot of fun with this swap! Manufacturers use several ways to do this. One way is to use indexing ink and actually stamp the image on the top. The ink runs $16.49 for 4 ounces. You'd be able to index oh, say, about a million stamps with that, plus or minus half a million (just joking -- I've never counted). You can believe it is permanent when applied to wood. As well as to kids, carpets, dogs and walls. Another is to use a special type of clear label called Repro film that can be run through a copier or a laser printer (specify which when you order). It comes in either a smooth or a satin finish. I like the satin; you see the index but hardly see the label itself. They are $2.50 a sheet for single sheets and less in quantity. Seems most of the big houses use the Repro film. They're getting a far lower price because of the quantities they buy and the labor cost to apply the index is less. - --Chris McEwen Socrates Press - -----Original Message----- From: Cecilia Terranova > >I recently mounted rubber stamps....What is the best way to put the image >on top of the wood? I will put together one full sheet of unmounted images, ( a 9 1/2" X 7" sheet) which only particapants may purchase for $15.00 plus $3.00 for shipping. There will be 20 images from list members on the sheet. The art work willnot be used by my company for any other purpose except this R.S. List Special. Each image will be approxamately 2 1/4" X 1 1/2". Theartwork you send to me must be "AT LEAST" that size. You may send larger artwork and I will do the resizing for you. Artwork must be in BLACK INK on WHITE paper and very clean of smudges. Try not to use real real thin line because they might not come out on the rubber. And they must be of hand drawings or doodles. (* Please Nothing Vulgar or Obscene*) It is fun for the particapants to see some of the other list members original drawings or doodles turned into a rubberstamp. If you wish that your artwork be anonymous just include a note when you send the copy of your drawing and payment. Along with the sheet of rubberstamps I will be including a list of credits for the artwork. For the artists who wish their artwork to be anonymous. The credit for their drawing will just say Anonymous. Please include a copy of the agreement portion of this E-Mail with your signature in the space provided as a release to use your artwork in this project only. Or you may write the full agreement out on a sheet of paper with your signature. - ---------------------------------------------------------------- R.S. List Original Doodle Special #3 Agreement.
