The sunflower card from Pepper was a delight. Loved the envy. Wanted to tell you a couple things about the card from Becky aka me4bunnies and myself. I signed her to the swap then told her about it after the fact. She had discovered an interest in stamping when her mother came home for a brief visit. She has been doing volunteer work in South Africa. Anyway MOM came bearing tons of cards stamped with African animals. BUT and this is a very big but, (shut up!) Becky had never done a rubberstamped card before this one. She bought some supplies but hadn't found the time or courage to actually make a card yet. Just stared and admired her supplies! And I'm afraid I don't have much more experience myself. I love doing computer generated cards and crafts and have combined it with a little rubberstamping. Very limited however so I'm more of a handicap than a help to her. We are having fun trying to learn together though. Wowza, wowza, wowza!!! What a SSS I have. I received the most incredible package. Everything ws wrapped in tissue paper and tied with ribbon, it felt like Christmas in October. I don't think I had any purple ribbon, well I do now!!! And what neat blue tissue paper, what do you call that? It will look great on cards. My daughter got all of the wonderful little kisses. I am trying to be real good. I kept the Litlle Blessing Angel girl for myself and wouldn't let her have it. It is so cute and all that hair! I didn't know what everyone was talking about in reference to Art Institue. Now I do!!! That glitter is to die for. Well not really die for but I am sure I will never be able to live without it again. I don't have any burgundy or dark green cardstock and was just thinking I needed some when you read my mind and sent it to me. Such a nice grade of paper too. I can't wait to use the sponge daubers. i think they will work better than the other types of sponges. the gift bag tags are neat, I am always cutting and trying to make some these will be a help. Won't the little doilies make great angel wings I'll have to try it it and see if it works. Where did you find the Darcies Country Folk bear in the bathtub kit. It is so cute and the colors will be perfect in the guest bath. I have been thinking that this would be a cute stamp to have. I really like Darcies stamps and she has such great message ones too! The Paper paint card sets are neat. I thought I would try one out as soon as I got the package and was working on it when the pizza came. Well the DH promptly set the box down on top of it. I only lost the top portion. I can still use it and cut them out and layer the hearts on a card. In fact I think I almost like that idea better. I love Precious Momemts and have been a collector for years. I don't collect thousands only the ones that mean something to me, in fact most all of mine have been gifts and they each have a significant memory with them. I have the little stamp of the boy and girl on the tree trunk and couldn't justify the big one even though I wanted it, when once again you knew just what I wanted and got it for me. Thanks! I think I will try to stamp on the tall red candle. I bet it would look real neat. I haven't done this before so I will try on a votive first. Thanks again for such a caring package. You are the greatest. I loved your card too. First he wanted to be a T-Rex, then he wanted to be a fish. Both of these are a bit too ambitious for me to try to make. So I'm trying to get him interested in another Halloween costume that will be a lot easier for Mama to create. So far I've come up with: the Mummy: Rit dye some rolls of gauze in varying icky shades of grey and wrap him up in them, powder his hair and put some of my makeup mixed with a bit of black eyeliner to grey it up on his face and the tops of his hands (this one's my personal fave but he's iffy); a Zebra: dress him in black and white (striped t-shirt) and put Halloween makeup on his face in stripes; Huck Finn: Blo-Pen brown freckles (this works great!) rolled up jeans, straw hat and fishin pole with a cardboard fish; the Science Experiment: with an eyebrow pencil, draw stitch lines around the ears, nose, neck, wrists, add a bit of fake blood; and the other usual easy stuff like a bum, a clown, a vampire etc. Does anybody have any unusual but easy costume ideas? I see and think of the same stuff every year and would love to do something different and wacky (but easy to put together from stuff on hand) and I'm drawing blanks. Also, because the school is the lower grades and preschool, they don't want anything too scarey for the little ones. Come on, put on your thinking caps (and I *KNOW* some of you actually have one). I know there's all kinds of creative brilliance on this list. Pretty please? My package of stickers is great too, the animals are so realistic, and more apples (it reminds me of the apple picking we used to do in CT every year!). I also got some leaf stickers and some other very pretty fall themed stickers. I love stickers and usually don't buy them for myself so they are an extra special treat! Oh, I can't wait to try out the wild fiber and the color looks so neat!!! I'm glad it come with directions and even some ideas. I'm going to have so much fun with this. Eeek, there STILL MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This package is unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got some really cute little square gift cards. These will look so pretty on the packages once I decorate them! I love the Teddy Halloween card you send me, he is so cute! The paper coasters with the sunflowers on them are so neat! I bought some paper coasters earlier in the year but never even saw anything like these. They are beautiful!!!! I love my unmounted stamps. I'm going to have to guard Captain Hook from Brian!!! Did you get this because Hook was my favorite movie?! He is perfect -especially for right now and so is the adorable little doggie with shades and tea! Both of these stamps will remind me not to take life too seriously and I need that reminder now more than ever!!! Thank you SSS for sending such special stamps! I had a piece of salt water taffy already, can you believe there is actually some left!!!! I haven't had this in years and had forgotten how much I enjoy it. It was made in Oregon, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Still, I don't think you are there because your package got to me in only 3 days so I think you are either in the midwest or maybe right here on the east coast with me. I'm wondering if you live by the ocean though, You definitly have me thinking! :-) I also got a Printworks cloud template and a 1998 calendar to stamp. I didn't have any templates until this package from you and now I have all sorts to have fun with. The calendar will also be a fun project! Then, as if all this wasn't enough!!!, I still had two boxes to open up. I did the never ending card swap...well this was the neverending SSS package and it was great!!!!! The first box I opened (I saved the biggest one for last!) contained some sponges for stamping (I can really use these) and the neatest pair of flower earrings! I like how they have what seems to be glitter on the petals. Perfect for a stamper! The second box had some orange ribbon, perfect for my fall cards and some excellent looking sparkling black glitter glue! This stuff is too cool!!!! I also got a memo pad. How did you know I use these all the time!!!! I never had such a neat looking one before though! I also got my very first Stampscapes stamp, the star cluster. I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be able to use this in so many ways. I'll have to make you a card, once I figure out who you are! :-) Thank you SS, thank you so very much for a most wonderful package. You have really spoiled me and I feel so lucky that you are mine! :-) I went through everything last night and was almost late for work this am because I just had to go through everything again!!!!! Gotta find some time to use all these goddies!!! Thanks again!!!
