Anyway you would get the prize for the most beautiful package ever! My wonderful SSS made me a gift bag out of a box and stamped peonies on it and even embossed them! Then she/he has white paper ribbon going around the top and two big white handles. This is a must see to believe.....it's gorgeous!!! She/he even made a card to match! But wait....that's not all.....she even filled this wonderful bag with lots of goodies...sniff sniff...my chocolate bar got taken away but it was nice to smell it for a few seconds....then there was Colorbox (my favorites) and of course the color was Peony.....a Marvy Matchable Wet Looks Marker...peony of course...do you see a theme here? Also a Pink Marvy Matchable Wet Looks Marker, an Angel Stencil which I love, a set of three flower pot candle holdes for my all time favorite candles....Yankees and she/he also sent two of those and of course they are peony!!! I first discovered these candles over 5 years ago in Hilton Head Island, SC while visiting my family and I have loved them ever since! Nothing seems as good as a Yankee Candle. (I should be getting paid for this endorsement!) Then she/he included a book of matches that sent chills up the spines of all those around oooohing and ahhhhing!!! (They did suddenly install a smoke detector in my bubble..ummm think they are trying to tell me something?) I am in such awe over your talents and I love this package so very much! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!! I received this package the day I went in for Chemo so this was a very special package indeed! Good evening everyone, I understand from reading several posts on the list, plus not seeing a post from here in a while, that Christane Britton is no longer on the list? I had printed out her Bag-elope instructions that she had posted quite a while ago, and decided to try it. Did anyone else try this or get a sample from her? I don't think I am doing it correctly. I just don't get it. Any and all help sure is appreciated. Thanks a bunch! Amanda Bristol ------------------------------ From: giggles5@juno.com (Linda S. Thank you for the ton of messages....sure kept Peter out of trouble for awhile! As most of you know by now, I have had a slight set back with a stroke that affected my left side of my body but mainly my left arm is the thing that was affected the most. I, of course have just been very happy it wasn't my right arm since that's my stamping hand! I have figured out what to do with this limp arm......I use it for a paper weight....just ploop it up on the paper and then I can stamp without the paper moving! Now embossing is a little tricky. Instead of watching the embossing powder I have to watch to see that my fingers don't become crispy critters....Yikes! Me and my flesh colored paper weight will have some tests done this week and hopefully the medical knickcompoops (oops sorry professionals) will be able to do something useful with this predicament! If you are waiting for a reply....I'm a bit slow typing with one hand but I will get back with you.......other than that....nothing new in my life. Tee Hee! Thanks for all your prayers and well wishes and love! All of you are just too wonderful for words! Giggles and Grins! Have I been flooded! Glad there wasn't any mail today (can't believe I actually said that!) I got all caught up on all these sketchbooks and am mailing out 22--count them--22--packets tomorrow--each with at least 2 books in it!! All these books (18) came to me in the last 4 days!!! I have been trying to always make a new book to send out with each one I get to stamp in, and have now made one for everyone in the SBsRUS and SB-MAC groups. Everyone in Dawn's group should be getting one from me to stamp in also. Do most of you who have been doing this a while make a book to go along with each one that comes to you to stamp in? Or once you make one for everyone in the group do you wait 'til you start receiving some made for you back and then start with thank you books? How do you keep track of who and what you've sent out? I started with a chart, but have already abandoned that. Now I am using a blank book where I stamp each image I use for covers or pages and write under it whose book it was for. I also checked off everyone as I made a book for them. Is this too anal?? I just don't want to skip anyone or make the same book for the same person twice. I have not yet received any books from Dawn's group--how are you all coming? I am really enjoying seeing all the stamping styles. Keep in touch.
