Toad Hall-Rubber Anarchy By now, I'm sure you've seen someone post to this list about the great grabbags they've gotten from Toad Hall-Rubber Anarchy. People tell me that they can't believe the amount of stamps they get, and that they are higher quality than what they normally see. True, we use an 11 pt etch which makes a deep engraving. We have highly detailed stamps, and we are proud of them! Wouldn't it be great to drop an unmounted stamp in every Christmas card you send out to your stamping friends this year? Or to have extra stamps on hand as hostess thank-you gifts for swaps? Or things to send to your secret friend? If you get a grabbag from us, you might find it hard to part with any of the stamps... but these are ideas for what to do with extras. Get a whopping pound of rubber for $22 plus $3 shipping, or 2 pounds for $48 (including shipping). Specify whether you want mostly cute (frogs, seasonal, friendship, coffee, tea, chocolate, scenery) or mostly not cute (women, men, kids, realistic and detailed angels, carved images, postage stamps, sarcastic word stamps) How many stamps are in a pound? We tell everyone over 50... I don't count, just pack em in and weigh. Someone reported 70 a few days ago, and someone once said 120. It depends on whether you get mostly small or large stamps in your bag. We always throw in something special that's not in our catalog. Duplicates, even in two bags, should be low to none. Free 160 page catalog with every order. We take credit cards, email or phone orders, and snail-mail, too. Most of my cards are fairly plain but there are a few > that > have embellishments and some that are of the collage nature. The ones > that > have more to them seem to sell better than others. I must jump in here, because I've been to Wendy's mom's stamp store and I've seen the cards, and I didn't see ONE that was "fairly plain"....you've got talent, and if you're referring to the ones without embellishments, just embossed and colored, your sense of color and symmetry make them anything but PLAIN! So there! And the reason I told Wendy she's selling herself short is because here there is a stamp store where one of the employees sells her cards for at least 8 bucks apiece! Whether anyone buys them or not, I don't know. I know she was getting a lot of regular customers asking her to make them their own samples like she displays in the store (she's creative and talented) and she was getting tired of other people thinking she was there to create for them. So maybe that's why she's selling her stuff. But while many of them are embellished, or 3-D, some are also embossed and colored, or cut and mounted, and I think Wendy could certainly up the price of her cards. Just MY 2 cents!!!
