But I know people who use it. Also, business card cardstock is normally 80lb to 90lb cardstock. It's great for cards! Nice and sturdy. Cardstock is generally available in either 65 or 80 lb as a rule. Some examples of 65# cardstock are: Astrobright, Sundance Felt, Howard Linen #65. Some examples of 80# cardstock are: Confetti, Classic Columns, Classic Linen, Howard Linen #80. If you intend on using it along with your printer, almost all new models will except 65# cardstock and most will also except 80#. Hope that helps. Colors you can't imagine in glitter. And yes, they are very very glittery. Several different kinds, translucent and solids. They are a very fine, silken glitter..not at all chunky. I do however, think the entire 'system' is wildly overpriced. You also kind of need 'instruction' in how to use the system..what glues give what effects and what glitters to use with what glues. It can be confusing. Well..at least to me . Other listees might disagree with me on the expense though..it's a relative thing. This is deckle-edged and layered onto a magenta colored card. (How appropriate!) The woman is colored very softly with a hint of peach, just enought to bring her out and add some depth. Very nice. No name on this one - it's stamped "Handmade" on the back with a familiar-looking crown. Will the mystery stamper please come forward? Stephanie stamped some juicy-looking berries and colored them in to match the purple and green cardstock she layered with. This would be just right for a small note to include with a package or a thank-you note. Barbara Holl stamped those ever-popular pots onto cork and then colored them with watercolor crayons and metallic paint pens. This was layered onto pink and then plum cardstock. The effect is very earthy. Well done, Barbara! Lots of horses in this swap - Andi Koehler stamped a beautiful big horse scene and colored very softly with colored pencil(?), layered with brown mulberry paper and then onto ivory textury paper. Makes me want to run in the meadow! Imagene and Elaine Normandy made similar cards using the new child on a horse design. The image was colored and then layered onto cardstock with a marble pattern. Elaine used a Stampendous Marble Texture cube with 3 colors of ink to get this effect - it really looks just like marble! Imagene's is nice, too - it has some white embossing to add to the texture. Great minds think alike! Thanks to all who joined this swap! Are they easy to remove and replace? Ny opinion is to go with the petal points. The "points" are probably about the same surface area of the cat eye's. If they get a little of the other color on them, just take a tissue and wipe them off, and they are extremly easy to take out and replace. In fact, I don't think I've ever used them as a whole unit.
