I should have said that they Paintboxes are perfect length for the wheel!! From what Stampcas said about it making a mess of the pad, I think she might have been talking about other kinds of rainbow pads. Assumption on my part - we all know what that means. But I've seen many people who do try that with the wheels, so it was a valid point in the discussion. There is nothing sadder than a muddied rainbow pad! After all this talk, I must go dig out my wheels and play!! "Family Reunion" is my favorite wheel!! As a fairly new stamper, I am always looking for something new, and I have to be told or shown exactly how to do it. As soon as your post came through today, I thought to myself, I got some vellum in an Evolving Images grabbag. Let's try this. I have an adorable Bunny stamp from Artistic Stamp Exchange that worked really well for this project. My card turned out so cute. This led me to a new idea for the celtic swap I have signed up for. I had spent a lot of time making the cards for the swap, but for whatever reason, I was not entirely happy with them. And after the topic recently about cards not being acceptable for swaps, I was about ready to trash the cards and bow out of the swap. Well, the vellum technique helped me come up with a whole new concept for my cards, and I have been busy ever since. I am still nervous about the swap, but I do feel better, thanks to you and the project of the week. Words cannot express my gratitude for your generosity in sharing your expertise.
