Two more delightful CCCC cards arrived here! From Cyndi Thayer, a very nicely done Christmas card. On white confetti cs, she stamped a Boyton cat holding a song book and singing with the words "Falalalalalalalalalala", then she glued some colorful music note confetti around. This piece of cs was then decoratively edges and layered on red, which was layered on gold, which was attached to the red card. Very nice with the thin gold border showing! Thanks! From Sandy Hampson another fun Christmas card. This one features a fat, very satisfied-looking cat, sitting on the front. He has a bell on his collar. She embossed him in red, layered on a red/white/ green plaid paper, layered that to red cs, then attached the whole thing to the white card. She added a flat gold ribbon around the fold. Inside is a cute letter to Santa from Butch the Cat. It made me smile! Thanks! I'll be getting more cards out soon! It is nice to be able to keep up with this now! I learned manually so find it faster to just do it on the fly as it were usually but I use HomeSite a lot to make changes offline when I have the computer line tied up with something else. Everything in html is so simple and logical... if you can use Word, you can do html and if you have something like Homesite (or I guess Front Page), you just have to click the symbols to make something happen. If you want to see what any Web Page html looks like, just click View and then Source and you'll see what's making it run. All the commands are inside <> so
means to center the text and means to make it bold. You always have to close the command so you'd put

I have to agree with Halo's purchasers. I just started rubberstamping 3 months ago and had quite a supply of stamps I mounted on wood, I had several boxes and had just started. I have since then unmounted and use Halo's and have more room on my shelves and um is cheaper. I wonder why they don't include a Native American Girl doll? I would think it would be one of the first to include in the group. I wonder what their reasoning is? Hmmm, wonder if they have a website and eaddy. Might as well ask directly. I call it "flower paper/cardstock" because that's just what it is... paper with real dried flower petals in it. This is not a handmade paper... but a smooth writing paper (28 lb) and a matching smooth cardstock, with actual flower petals in the paper. It comes in 2 types... one has LOTS of petals, and the other has fewer, more space out petals. Both come in the TEXT (paper) weight and CARDSTOCK weight. Now, here's the problem... these are VERY expensive (I was shocked!) but they are GORGEOUS! The good thing is I don't have to buy a whole ream... they come in packages of 100... so I can order only as much as I need. I will be ordering/picking up these on Jan. 10th and shipping Jan. 12th. I will take pre-orders ONLY and buy only what you order. Here are the prices (full 8½x11 sheets): -->Sparce petals (text weight) 10 sheets for $3.75 -->Sparce petals (cardstock weight) 10 sheets for $7.50 -->Lots of petals (text weight) 10 sheets for $3.75 -->Lots of petals (cardstock weight) 10 sheets for $7.50 Shipping: 10 sheets/$1.75 -- 20 to 80 sheets/$3 Please e-mail me if you want to be included in the order. I would like to have most of the money before I pick these up (as they are quite spendy!!). I WILL NOT cash any checks before the paper is shipped!!! I used to use a portable electric burner to do my embossing. Everything around it (including me!) got fried. Now I can emboss and shrink plastic and *be cool*. I got 2 stamp positioners from my grandmother for Christmas and I think these may be my next *favorite* stamping items... Now if I can just figure out how to use them accurately! stamp on!
