I have to admit I cheated on my cards. I just didn't have enough time to stamp the whole thing because our card list is about 180, even I after I pared it down. The graphic was printed on the vellum sheet using a Hewlett Packard DeskJet 820 Cse, the word NOEL is a stamp by PSX, I think (I don't have it in front of me) and the text on the inside was printed with an ancient Hewlett Packard Laser Jet 4P. I glued the vellum to the marble card stock with a plain old Avery glue stick. The cards were actually pretty simple to do. Thank you for the compliments, though. Muffin needed someone to be firm with her and not Afraid of her . I use voice commands, squirts with a water bottle and body language. My poor Mom was so afraid of her that I would have had to retrain my Mom and Muffin. Since we don't live near each other , I had to bring Muffin home with me. She (cat) needed a lot of attention. She had the other cats here to keep her company and 6 people coming in and out all the time. And I had 2 dogs that were not afraid of her. Basically , Muffin was a bully and very lonely. I broke her of the bad habit of not getting out of the window sill by being firm. I did Not wear gloves and she did not bite me. You have to show 'no fear' and speak in a deep voice and firmly. Even tho Muffin was declawed, I do let her outside occasionally. She has presented me with many dead baby moles. She stays close to home and comes when called. Muffin likes to come and sit on my chest when I am sitting in my chair. She puts her head under my chin and does that kitten thing with the front paws kneading my shirt. And she leaves in 15-20 minutes. I found out the right way to pet her is under her chin and long strokes on her back. I love cats and had been present when Muffin was born. I used to take in stray pregnant cats, find homes for the kittens and then get the cat spayed. But I usually ended up keeping mother and/or a kitten. My DH says 7 is enough but I would love to have a kitten now. The youngest cat is almost 2 yrs. now. I got her from a restaurant. She was from a litter of kittens that belonged to the "cat family" that lived in the back of this restaurant. I wish I could have taken them all but I can't afford to. And living in a very rural area , people have a different attitude toward stray cats. I have worked with the local Animal warden in finding homes for kittens. That's an improvement , years before they only cared about the dogs because " dog licenses generated $ " to support the animal shelter. Hope you like the ending. Muffin is happy ( for her personality ) and sheltered and love. Well it's not really a problem with the set or the packaging, just that each stamp has a copyright Disney on it, which is not shown on the back of the package. It isn't that hard to cut that little thing off (I have done it many times before, luckily they put it on the outside edges of their stamps) but it would look kind of stupid if I made a card that said THANK YOU and inside each letter it said (C) Disney. I was just sending out my message to warn any other potential buyers of this set that each stamp does have a (C)Disney on it. The holidays are so hectic around here (I bet none of you had that problem LOL). Anyway, Thank you to Vivian Thiele for the cute Christmas card. It was a white card with red and green layers on the front with a cute stamp of a lion and a lamb stamped on white paper and cut out. Then in gold she wrote around the edge: The lion shall lay with the lamb and there shall be peace. Thank you to Sandy Wisneski for the sampler pack of swap cards. There were 6 cards in the pack and gave me some really good ideas. Everyone here is so creative and talented and I'm jealous. Wish I would have found this craft a long long time ago. I also received my grabem grab bag from Linda Skirvin today! I love the school of math you have all went to. Some great stamps in there - I had to try them all right away. There's a really cool one of the back end of an elephant. I thought it would be great for a belated birthday card! There is such an assortment of stamps - cute to crazy. Thank you also for the card. It is a really cute card on white cardstock with shiney silver paper on the front of it. On the silver there are stickers of holly berries and leaves in each corner and a really cute bear in the center with the words Merry Christmas! and a bow on top. Inside it says: Blessed are those who see Christmas through the eyes of a child. Thanks to all who have gone out of their way to welcome me to this list. I feel like I really belong! I love those color combinations. Some I never would have tried on my own. I'm definitely going to make a point of playing with some of these with my color in general. The pads sound luscious. And for those of you who are online but have no online catalogs (shame on you!) you could do the same thing, scan in your catalog and make it available to others for an easy zipped file download. If you don't have a scanner (which are only about $100 these days) you could probably find someone to scan in your catalog for you. I know I would probably do it for someone if they sent me a free catalog.
