I went through all of my stamps, and have a bunch I would love to get rid of, and maybe you are in the same boat. What this entails, is that if you have stamps you want to get rid of, stamp the images in black ink on to a white piece of paper. Write on the paper near the stamp the price you are asking for the image. On the bottom of each sheet place your name snail mail address, and e mail address. Do not forget that it will cost you something to send your stamps out. You may want the buyer to pay these costs, or you may want to take care of that. It is something you will work out yourselves. I am asking $2-3 dollars for large wood mounted stamps, and lots less for unmounted. Mark wether the images are mounted or not. Mail the sheet to me by March 1st. I will make copies of the sheets and mail the booklets out to all those interested. Anyone is welcome to the book, they just need to email me, and sign up. The cost is $2.00, to cover copying fees, envelopes and mailing. this same cost applies to those sending sheets of images. Then we will have a set date, that you may begin inquiring about the stamps. That is the only fair way to let everyone have the equal opportunity at buying the images you want. So, if interested, e mail me, and let me know if you would be sending sheets of images, or just want a booklet. This is a great way to clean out your stamps, and then use the flea market sales to buy that new image you just have to have! There was a HUGE outpouring (or should that be inpouring) of orders on the last few days of the year and I have yet to get all the orders entered into the computer! I'm working on that today but STILL have an unbelievably huge pile of orders to enter. Yesterday, I went to the warehouse and pulled ALL the orders that had been entered and they'll go out tomorrow. I pulled so many, I ran out of baskets to put orders in and places to sit them in the shipping area! My plan is to enter as many orders as I can today and tomorrow morning and go to the warehouse again tomorrow afternoon and pull all the orders I've got entered... with so many orders, I think it may still take me several days to get the process completed. In the meantime, orders shipped out on December 22nd STILL haven't arrived and UPS is obviously very bogged down. I've traced a few orders for people this morning and all I get is where they've been, are now and that they're IN TRANSIT. So, please don't panic yet if you don't have your order or haven't heard from me with a total... I've given up trying to read the e-mails about orders because if you ask me a question about an order I haven't even entered yet, then there's no information for me to look up... let's make a deal. As soon as I've entered what I think are ALL the orders received, I'll post a notice to the list and then you can ask me your questions and I'll be able to give an intelligent answer as to what the status of your orders is. To try to track down orders right now is just taking away time from entering orders. The other area I've fallen down in totally is MAIL orders. UPS orders get processed at the warehouse and get shipped as soon as I can pull them or within 24 hours of my pulling them. MAIL orders on the other hand, get mailed by me and I've been so busy entering orders that I haven't been able to keep up with the mail... some orders have gone out and I'm going to make myself get the rest of them in the mail this week so please forgive me for the delay. I hope you can understand... I'm trying to get these done as fast as possible as I need to get all these orders out before we can even start inventory and do all our end of the year stuff. I have to remember to keep turning the computer back to December 31, 1997 every morning when I get up! Oh, and in answer to a question I'm often getting asked, NO, we are not restocking any of the items for the reasons we've had to have this sale to begin with... no money to do so. And NO, we are not closing our doors and going out of business... thanks to the wonderful rubber stampers who have rallied to our aid! We will be selling rubber stamps and Miracle Tape/Sheets for sure. Probably Embossing Powder and Confetti but that's up in the air as to what I'll do when we sell out of stock on hand. We have a huge amount of stock of both at present so for the foreseeable future, we'll have both available. What happens when we run out will depend on our financial situation at the time. Again, I have to thank all of you for helping us out of this crisis... still no money back from the bank but they won't even start their investigation till I get my original checks back and take the originals in to them. I finally got the largest of the three checks I knew about back and it wasn't even signed with my signature... a totally different name so now I'm wondering if there are two sets of forgers out there with my checks. Anyway, I've got new bank accounts but had to leave the old ones open till outstanding checks went through. Well, I discovered yesterday morning that a whole bunch of online checks had gone through and overdrawn the old business account so I called and had no difficulty at all transferring money over the phone from the new account to the old... all they wanted was the last four digits of my social... no password, no nothing. Scary, huh? I DO understand your frustration at not being able to get instant answers from me at this point but I hope you can understand that my first priority has to be to enter ALL the orders into the computer so I can at least look up your order when you ask me about them... I'll let you know as soon as that happens... I DID notice yesterday that we have 17 orders that have been packed and held waiting for either checks to come in or credit card information to be provided... if you've changed your mind and don't want your order now, please let us know as there may well be stock in your order that other people would love to have and we're out of now. Oh, well.... at least I'll be working again, and that feels better than "living off the system" eventhough in Oregon, you PAY into the system so it can be there for you when you need it. Just my 2 cents worth by the way if others started referring to them as "Devil Companies" maybe they wouldn't like that name! kathie This message was from Rustamping - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. Hi All, I had a brainstorm in my sleep. While trying to come up with a new cover for the new full HRS catalog, I knew I wanted to do a color cover. So, I was thinking that i might put picture of a bunch of cards or other projects made with HRS stamps. I'd then put "how to" instructions for each card inside the catalog at various places. So, if you would like to put a card you make into the running to get on and in the catalog, these are the who's, when's, and how. . . First, all cards submitted must only use designs from Happy Rubber Samps. No other companies stamps on the outside of the card (or other project). All projects must include full instructions. Please include what color embossing powders, etc. All entries will be judged by me, Tom, and two neighbors who are unbiased in everyway. And my brother Jeff. All entries will be put on our website, too. And, if you don't mind, I'd like to throw some suggestions out there for you to use. . . I'd love to see some Velvet Stamping Fabric stamping Vellum Cards Stamped boxes Magnets Pins, pins, pins!!! So, if you want to try for this, but don't have a catalog you can get one of the old ones for just $2.00 to cover postage. We have a while to do this, so these aren't due to me until May 1st, but the soon er the better. Email me if you want to play or want me to hold a catalog for you. Thanks and good luck!
