If I don't trade in the Canadian money right away for US money, my kids love to bring it to school and show it off. In fact some of the foreign money I have received in swaps I have kept for my kids "foreign coin collection". They think it is real cooland I do too. The one Australian swapper I had sent US money, so that worked well. I love having swappers join that are out of the US. It makes a swap interesting. Well that morning I had decided that I was going to tackle the laundry all ( 8 washes) now the washer and dryer were in our kitchen and the dirty laundry went into the hamper in the bathroom so I had the hamper on the side and laundry spilled out everywhere, trails from the bathroom to the washing machine. Then well Olivia was just 2 at the time and riding one of those little tikes three wheel bike through the house, well she would drag pieces of laundry that she found interesting throughout the house. So its now dinner time and I decide to make fish coated in cornmeal, well somehow I was on the phone talking to my friend and I see Olivia riding her bike and cornmeal everywhere like a trail through the house, she had taken the can of cornmeal and put it into the trunk of her bike!! So I get off the phone and go to get the broom and round the corner and there are my inlaws, didnt knock or call or ring the bell, their standing right in the middle of the cornmeal and laundry !! So I try to explain the mess and the reason but they just nodded their heads, so then my father in law went to use the bathroom and slipped in the kitchen from the cornmeal and ended up on his bottom in a huge pile of dirty laundry !!!!! - very funny for me - not so funny for him or my mother in law! Well that was the first time they came over and now they stand at the door and wait!! The cornmeal is long gone but Jake (4years) thinks that packing peanuts are snow so thats strewn around the house and as I type and Olivia discovered that glitter is looks like a rainbow when you sprinkle it on the couch and then jump up and down on the couch ! I try to contain the piles and the messes , I'm great about not leaving food or trash around the house, but its still a mess, we have a dog that loves to shake and shed fur right after you clean a spot and a rabbit that wants revenge( she wants to run free) she kicks her hay out of the cage which then the kids and the dog track through out the house. Clean houses are what I would love, I envy folks that can do that and keep it up, but I also value my children more, the night before my son died, I had spent it cleaning and organizing, now he still would have died but I wish that I had spent that time with him. Now the cleaning and the other housy stuff wait till whenever I can or hubby can. Maria G. I didn't care for temp mounting on acrylic blocks because either they were too big for the um and felt weird or the block was too little to handle with ease.
