It was one of the best bargains I have ever gotten. It was a sealed plastic bag of slightly used sheets of rubber. Sometimes most of the sheet was still there and ocassionally just one or two had been cut out of it. I ended up with 81 images, none of them the same . Most of mine were word/sayings....which I love. Some were people...Elvis, Clinton, showgirls and etc. A few were animals...one an elephant, pigs and a dog and a cat. There are very few that I won't find a use for eventually. We had the fireplace going and it was letting too much smoke back into the house. My DH went upstairs and turned on the attic fan to get the smoke out quickly. Well, it pulled out the smoke, along with all the ash from the fireplace. We had ash everywhere, would clean it up and it would reappear. What a mess! Brenda This message was from "Brenda J. I will consider doing a monthly or bimonthly Acey Deucy goddess swap i need feedbacks before i make a go of it.. since i made few mistakes and i get so confused sometimes (poor poor me) i think ill take 8 people only and they would have to commit to making something different using only acey duecy goddess stamps.. for example one month pin swap (acey duecy goddess stamp) another month xmas card (acey duecy goddess stamp) another month anything BUT card or pin (acey duecy goddess stamp) another month postoid (acey duecy goddess stamp) another month envy (acey duecy goddess stamp) and etc... 6 months 8 for 8 (extra to be send to acey duecy owner if you wish) please be sure you can commit when you sign up. etc etc etc.. open for suggestion/feedbacks/whatever.... This is separate from Brenda's acey ducey goddess swap (that i also sign up for and since its not till june im saving my best idea for that one) valobra > A monthly swap sound very interesting or even a bi-monthly swap. When you send in request for your new SSS wishlist and I dont have it.. I send a wishlist form to that person to fill out. I then respond to your e-mail letting you know the status and THEN I delete your e-mail. Please do not hesitate to e-mail again and request. I get so many requests sometimes more than one request per person its too hard to keep track. So do not hesitate to e-mail again several times until i finally get that form filled out and able to forward you a copy. Also this form does not have to be for SSS. Request it for other things. To rak someone, to send something to a friend you like on the list for her/his birthday. and etc.. Oh and you dont have to be in SSS to fill one out.. keep em coming.. and dont forget to let me know if its an updated wishlist (so i can delete your old one) have fun.. valobra "you shall mount up with wings like eagles" In Loving Memory of my Beloved Nephew Stephan Francis McLeod August 6, 1997-November 22, 1997 This message was from Golden Goddess - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. I did, however, get money and guess >what I bought with it.....STAMPING STUFF!! LOL I been doing some shopping too! monday I went to michaels, check out what they had left after christmas.. I missed the good sales by being outta town, and then I decided to wait til everybody had gone back to school and work, so everything was pretty picked over, but that's probably better for my budget anyway. michaels had their stamps 30% off, so I got 5.. a christmas one, a couple word ones, a woody and bo peep I'll give my daughter for valentines, and one more I forgot (nah, I remember but it's for my sss!). one of the word ones is just perfect to go with my very favorite in the whole world ship stamp that is actually not mine at all, but jhone is letting it live at my house til she needs it.. it says "we cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust our sails." picked up the old somerset and the new rubber stamper. got couple spools of metallic cord, couple 3-packs of ep's that were half off, and a punch, a 3part christmas stencil and some packs of buttons and geegaws, alla stuff was half off 'cept the magazines and stamps. then I went over to the stampin' store down the street from my house, they said christmas stamps 30% off, a coupon for 10% off on stickers, and they're doing catalog orders of alias smith and rowe this month, 25% off.. didn't need anything there though.. alias smith and rowe is *way* too cute. yesterday I went over to stampin' store that's far.. they had christmas 20% off.. got 2 stamps and a foam mounted printworks set, new somerset and RSM, and a pack of that cool cloudlooking vellum. then I went over to clothworld. got a sailer glue pen, 3 tubes of those hampton arts sealing wax wafers and something else that was also 1.99.. oh, a hank of navy blue hemp. everything was 1.99, was like I was in a rut or something. then I was ready to go to lunch with jhone and terrie, but there was still 35 minutes to kill so I went back up the road to old america.. they had their christmas gifted line stickers half off so I got some of those, and some crocheted snowflakes for half off 33 cents, whatever that works out to. and I ordered some glitter from jutta, some stamps from wenonah and some chalks from the happiest gal around, and am workin' on orderin' ep's from pamela and I believe I best *stop* now.. rofl! least til is my birthday.. then I'll start again! anno This message was from "anno" - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. I won't be disappointed now. Also, thank you for the renarks about my card. This isn't glitter. I learned this at a class at Stamparosa. After coloring your pictured you do spray with glue and then cover with ep like psychedelic or holograpgic and then heat gun it. I love the effect. Thank you.
