One from Jhone, very beautiful. She printed a beautiful winter scene on vellum and stamped and embossed "Noel" on it. On the inside she wrote a message in beautiful kalligraphy (sp?). Very classy. The other one was from Sherry Webster. She stamped and colered a cute bear holding a big heart. Inside she stamped (in Dutch) Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and embossed it with black glitter EP, very beautiful. She also enclosed some extra goodies. That makes 4 Christmas cards that I received from list members. In total I received 60 Christmas cards and 15 of them were hand made. So, that's a pretty good score I should thing. Are all you other newbies just as slow or am I doomed and pathetic? Joyfully, Vivian >> No, you are not doomed and pathetic...I'm new too and I have a stamping buddy that I go to her house and stamp with...She's been stamping for a long time and I get one card done to her 6 or 7. (What i won't do for my stamping pals!) These lights are on the back page of a catalog called Home Decorators the # is 1-800-245-2217. The bulbs are on the back page and the description is as such: 20,000-hour, Long lasting full spectrum light bulbs. >> Your post got me to investigating the light bulb versus the entire light. The bulbs run at the most $8.00. I'm going to try them first before I invest in an entire lamp. Most of the hardware stores carry the long lasting full spectrum light bulbs. Reading the description in the catalog (thank you ecv500) it seems like the ott light and the light bulb mentioned are really the same thing and the price is WAY different! So I'm gonna buy the light bulb today and I'll post the resulting change. If anyone has anymore input, I'd really like to know. I don't know how to emboss yet so the only thing I'm able to do with my cards is stamp and color in with pencils. I haven't even tried using layers of cards yet. I just found some corrugated paper yesterday at WalMart so I may try that too. The other problem is being uninterrupted. Not too easy around here! Good luck and keep trying!!
