At the station, the three accountants each bought tickets and watched as the three engineers bought only one ticket. "How are three people going to travel on only one ticket?" asked an accountant. "Watch and you'll see", answered an engineer. They all boarded the train. The accountants took their respective seats, but the three engineers all crammed into a rest room and closed the door behind them. Shortly after the train departed, the conductor came around collecting tickets. He knocked on the restroom door and said, "Ticket, please". The door opened just a crack and a single arm emerged with a ticket in hand. The conductor took it and moved on. The accountants saw this and agreed it was a quite clever idea. So, after the conference, the accountants decide to copy the engineers on the return trip and save some money (being clever with money, and all that). When they got to the station, they bought a single ticket for the return trip. To their astonishment, the engineers didn't buy a ticket at all. "How are you going to ride without a ticket"? said one perplexed accountant. "Watch and you'll see", answered an engineer. When they boarded the train, the three accountants crammed into a restroom and the three engineers crammed into another one nearby. The train departed. Shortly afterward, one of the engineers left his restroom and walked over to the restroom where the accountants were hiding. He knocked on the door and said, "Ticket, please". Each server handles incomming mail differently. That is typically the cause of the delay in receiving. As far as the # of messages in your "in box" ... WOW ! I can have up to 500 messages a day ! I'd never be able to handle only 150. AOL allows us to have "flash sessions" where we can download our mail hourly ... or whatever schedule we want. This means our computers are doing their thing while we're gone during the day/night. For example, I have 2 flash sessions a day ... and when I get home, I can read everything off line .. reply .. then get online to send stuff. I love this feature ! Because I don't have to be here to activate it. I know many of you have the same problem.. I clear all my e-mail up around 11:00-11:30 p.m. before I go to bed. In the morning I get up around 7:00 ish and my mailbox is full. I, with about 10 others are on webtv and our mailbox only holds 150 messages at a time (bummer). Therefore mail bounces and have no way of knowing how many. I use to send a message to the list and in about five seconds it was there, now it takes hours. Is this going to continue like this (I hope not) or is it just a tryout. Thanks. Piglet, I think I can help you in your quest to find out more about RubberStamping. First, we will need you to get your hands on ALL THE MONEY YOU CAN. Then, you and I will travel to the nearest Stamp Store....we wouldn't want to waste precious CASH on Gasoline driving all around the country, now would we? When we get to the Stamp store, you go to the Cash Register and WAIT....I'll be going up and down the aisles, picking out all the supplies I want...er... YOU will be NEEDING in this endeavor. I'll pick out Stamps, inkpads, papers, markers, EP, and of course, a BLITZER. When I get to the Register, you pay for everything. When we get back to your house, we will transfer all the bags and packages into my Van. Then I will drive home, use all the stuff we bought to make you a lame card, & mail it to you. THEN, you will be able to see what Rubberstamping is all about. Doesn't this sound like a GRAND idea???? I think so, too!!
