The containers are made of the same type of plastic that the Rubbermade Servers, except that these are a lot thinner and the lids are the same material. They are a pliable plastic and semi-see-thru. Static does not seem to be a problem, the powder is sitting on the bottom. They are about 1.5 in deep and 4.5 in in dia, with snap on lids that seal, and are recessed so that they can be stacked. If I use a plastic spoon I can hold the card over the container and spoon the EP on, as someone suggested before. And the extra slides back into the container. The price of the containers 40 for $8.00. The shipping is $3.00 for 40, to US addresses. The total price including shipping for 40 is 11.00 These specials are for retail only, US Funds only on drawn on a US Bank. MN residents must add sales tax. Valentines Swap If anyone has Kimberlee's address could they please E'mail me with it as soon as possible. Please e'mail at the LRCroswell@juno.com address as I sometimes have problems with Aol mail. My husband is going to hike out to the in the snow to get a ride to town and offered to send my swap cards . we are still stuck 3/4 mile from the paved road. I wouldn't have even asked him to help when he is dealing with the loss of his mother but he knew I had the cards done and offered to send them, and we have no idea when we will be able to drive to town ourselves again. I have the best husband I could have ever dreamed of and adored his Mom and will really miss her. Thanks for the prayers and nice letters during this rough time in our family. If you have the Rubber Stamper from Jan/Feb, look on page 92. I just tried that project. It came out pretty good, if I do say so myself! If you don't have the magazine, here is how you do it: Just take a little square of craft foam and hit it with the heat gun. Now, quick, while it is hot take an UNINKED stamp and press it into the hot foam. Press realllly hard! The first couple of times I didn't get a good impression, as I didn't press hard enough. The neat thing is that if you look at the impression and don't like it, heat it again and it disappears. Then you can start over. Now take some metallic rub-ons (which you can get from Evo, by the way) and rub a color over the image and it starts to pop out. Then take another color and go over the image again. Now take that first color and rub it over the image. It looks really nice and it is fun, too!! *Hint ~ Use a fairly big stamp with good detail (I used the rose arbor from PSX, #K1792) and don't foget to press REAL HARD! Shel P.S. I deleted Evo's hints about the metallic rub-ons, and I can't remember if you are supposed to spray this stuff with anything? It comes off a little when you rub over the top of it. I want to send some of these for a swap and I don't want them to get all gunky. Any ideas, anybody?? Hello! Just wondering if there is anyone out there who lives in the Jacksonville/ Camp Lejeune area. There is a strong possibility that it will be our next duty station. I used to live there...that is where I met and married my DH. Of course I had never even heard of rubberstamp art back then... my question is are there any good places for supplies there and are there any crazy stampers out there? The first thing one learns in marketing your product is - KEEP YOUR NAME IN FRONT OF THE PUBLIC. I guess I should let you all know that I am not just vendoring to get your money - I do have tips and with all going on right now hesitate to write but - I found some Bounty paper towels with several rows of colorful, pale pinks, blues and greens, small hearts on each sheet. I took my Irridescent ep and embossing ink in the tube and embossed some of the hearts. They are SO cute and different. These can be added to your cards or wrapping papers and you can even make wrapping papers out of the sheets after they are done. There is plenty of room between rows to write or stamp messages. Hope this helps. Marge @ Stampz 'N Stuff in Ocean Springs, MS. Home of the remarkable papers.
