Hello all! Most of you know that I lost a mother and BIL recently and since I was very close to them, it hurt alot and still does. I was hoping for a better 1998, but so far, it hasn't been. BUT, I'm not giving up yet! First of all, our well (we live in the country) had problems, then we had to replace our toilet. Ugh. Well, that wasn't too bad, but I got news this week that my cousin of 42 died. He and I weren't close at all, but I remember him growing up. I am very sad and for his mother especially(my mother's sister) Danny had a very sad life even as a little boy. The saddest thing is when he went into the service right out of high school, he came back not knowing who he was, boils all over his body and skin and bones. The government never did tell his family what happened to him. He has been on disability all of his life and meds, etc. He died on Sunday last week and wasn't found until Wednesday. The worst thing of all is his ex wife's daughter saw the obituary in the paper and called my aunt to give her condolances. My aunt was not contacted by his recent wife! She won't tell the family what's going on, she cleaned out the house and boarded it up. Since the veteran's administration isn't paying as much as she would like, she asked social services to pay for it. They will only do a "pauper's" type of burial, which is no service, etc. The family wants to do more because they loved him. Now, the family is getting suspicious of his recent wife. I think this whole thing is awful! If you find it in your heart to pray for this family, please do. I want to see justice be done here and the truth to be known for my family's sake. Thanks for listening.
