About 5 years ago I worked at Victoria's Secret part-time at Christmas for a friend who was managing the place and for the extra $$$. Loved it sooo much that I worked there for 4 years part-time. Yes I have a ton of bras and matching butt-floss....... My favorite smell...Rapture by VS and the new one too Encounter. They have really cool candles with those scents too. I just sent my DH who's already moved to the new job....a card with the Rapture sprayed in it...heehee...the mail person who delivers made a comment and DH said he thought of me all day....Yahoo...it worked. I figured that if anyone knew how to keep it pretty much in one place, it would be Jutta. So I asked her how. She said she puts a terrycloth towel down on the table when she's either working with EP or embossing. When you're done, just take it outside and shake it out and then into the washer. It works, and no EP in the vacuum cleaner! (My entire house, except for my miniature kitchen and the two bathrooms, is carpeted, so embossing my vacuum cleaner motor was a real possibility). We had these just awful orange polyester uniforms, you know, impervious to anything, wear like iron, ugly as all get-out! Bright blight orange, and with brown aprons. I'm thinking that wearing this cologne will offset the smell of the french fries and other culinary delights we served. And I'd upsweep my hair and pin a great big silk flower in it -- trying to transform myself into "yeah, this is the ugliest uniform you ever saw, but doesn't my hair look like I'm going to the ball after I get off work?" elegant, I guess :-} But after I stopped working there the sweet smell made me gag and think of greasy food (not that I have ANYTHING against greasy food ... gastronomically speaking...) so I switched -- after a few hits and misses -- to strictly Anais Anais... Guess what the silly lurker did now! I finally decided I would swap stickers (how hard could they be)?!! So I got out a half sheet of glossy sticker paper because I like the detail I get with it. I got out my Michael & Co Hearts & cherub set I found in the kids toys at Marshall's & got to work. I stamped, marvyed, smooshed on some clear dimensional magic stuff & sprinkled with glitter. I let it dry & cut one out so.....carefully. Then I decided to loosen the back off one......Oh, oh.....It's not coming off. Did the dimensional stuff stick the backing on? Wait! Where is the crack on my crack & peal? !? I bet you figured it out before I did. So Kimberlee, don't be looking for my stickers in the mail. I can't stay up & play anymore tonight. Now is there a card swap & can use these on?????? Sheesh! She had to wait to send it to me because she ordered me the most wonderful Gothic Initial Stamp set (I don't have anything like this and I love it!). She also sent a sheet of alphabet stickers, some "beady" shelf liner that was shown in the last Somerset with instructions on what to do with it, a pattern for a double heart card and four cards she had made out of her very own handmade paper (very nice paper), three sheets of tissue paper - dog prints and valentine and watches, three little unmounteds, three Marvy crystal point pens, some fun images to use (I really love the cat), some beautiful cardstock, some autumn colored envelopes, some background papers, a sheet of bird stickers and a small box of LINDT LINDOR TRUFFLES (which I promptly hid from the boys in my family so I can have them all). Thanks again Sandy, you've been a really great SS. I am a very lucky stamper.
