Linda, I just recently joined the d club. I had a stroke on december13th and once I was released from the hospital all I kept saying to my occupational therapist was , I need to be able to stamp again. I have managed just fine and will continue to. I am only 45 and plan on many more happy years of stamping.I have only been stamping a year but it has been my sanity during my illness. My creative edge has seem to have left me but I am sure with time it will return. I have been sitting for days looking at my Valentine's stamps and trying to come up with something easy but elegant. I missed sending out my Christmas cards this year but I am way ahead for next year now. Glad to see there are more of us out there. This has helped in my recovery. Now and for about the last 8 years I have been wearing Shalimar, my MIL gets me a nice size bottle every year for my birthday ( March) and my hubby gets me one for Christmas each year ( I dont wear it days Im in house). He messed up this year and got me a bottle of Anais Anais - which I love, so Im switching between the two. My all time favorite cologne was Lou-Lou ( came out about 10 years ago) but they dont make/sell it anymore. I love the way Aramis (sp?) for men smells, but hubby only wears Old Spice. To line it up, you punch your first one, then line up the closest edge of the previous punch with the side of the punch... (that's what the directions say). But I've never used it correctly I guess :) Still I think one long punch that would do a whole edge in one *punch* would be a cool thing. Or a long punch with a big design like a filigree, taht would be a 3" or so punched image....is there some sort of technical barrier to punches like these? Thanks for the tip on the double punch, I'll have to try it!
