Have tried the Hilton, but found the RI so much more enjoyable and more value for our $$$. It is about 15 minutes away, but it's so nice. They have regular rooms and townhouses. You can request rooms with sofa beds in addition to the queen size beds. They give a discount to stampers for the convention. Last time we were there, Mary from Hot Potatoes was staying there and Ashley entertained her at breakfast--even told her about HALOS:) That's the other neat thing--they have a wonderul breakfast area with fruits, cereals, waffles, juices, sweet rolls, bagels, donuts etc. and the price is included in your room. We'll be staying there and will give a ride back to the convention center to anyone we can squeeze in the Suburban. Shouldn't be a problem, since we'll be pulling our trailer with our stuff. But we do leave early, so if you want to sleep in, might be better to stay at the Hilton. Maybe we could persuade Gary to help us find some stamp stores following the convention. Another thing..I think if I had a teenaged daughter I would rather them listen to the Spice Girls than...OH NO!!!! I'm going to mention his name...(WARNING: This message may upset some people LOL) Marilyn Manson....Now that would be the one that I would worry about..my niece is into him and she is deteriorating day by day. This message sent to you from the women in her 20's that has all the Beatles cd's there are (Including the BBC sessions) BTW Saw Paul McCartney in 91 in Boulder Co...Great concert... And I would also like to put my 2 cents in on teen advice...I have alot of teen friends, they love me for some reason...and the major thing I tell them is...Life is hard and most of the time will kick you in your ***, but you have to get back up brush the dirt and smile, then say I learned something today...
