Michelle sponsored the "People" swap with a December 31st pmk deadline. I'd mailed my stuff (1st swap ever) on December 24th and she waited and waited and waited. Please, don't get on her case for being patient. My items, postmarked December 24th, didn't reach her until the 12th. I'm so very lucky that she fell asleep in the middle of the ready to be sorted cards on the evening of the 11th. I'll e-mail the e-mailable privately. The variety of techniques was a delight and an inspiration. There was one formal one that I'll frame and hang until I can do one as nicely myself (I'm vane, I prefer to display my own work, whenever it's not embarrassing). The others will come with me to the rubberstampers' S.I.G. (special interest group) next week to provoke envy amongst the non-InterNet'd. I adhered the acetate with miracle tape to one side of the foam core, filled the opening with confetti and adhered another piece of acetate to the back side also with miracle tape. I then used miracle tape to adhere the frame to the foam core. Problem - all my confetti is getting stuck in between the foam core and the acetate and isn't "floating" around very nicely! What have I done wrong??? I'm trying to make these for Tyler's pre-school teachers and getting very frustrated!! Thanks for any help, suggestions, etc.!! I caught chicken pox from my then 4 year old. She was fine. I ended up in the hospital with pneumomia and was there for a week. I was on oxgen and it was awful, adults who get chicken pox have a harder time then children and it can cause a lot of damage. I was covered head to toe with them and they ended up in my lungs. I took me over 2 months to recover and the pain was incredible, every time I tried to move it felt like someone was stabbing me in the back. I would diffently check into the shots.
