(Yes, I can, because that is the kind of people on this list!) What I am planning to do (and have started) is to make up thank you cards and then my MIL is going to save the addresses from the cards so I can thank you all. So, please, please, put your return addy on the cards. I started to save the posts, but missed a bunch. I told her tonight they were coming. An update: yesterday she called and said that he was so full of fluid, they had to cath him and when they did that, noticed a prostate problem--he already had surgery once (not cancer) and they thought he would need it again while he was in the hospital. Tonight she called and he lost *50* lbs of fluid so far!! Hard to believe, but I guess he put it all on since the beginning of Dec. Anyway, he might not have to have the prostate surgery, cuz they now think it may have been all the fluid. Good grief! Well, this is probably more than anyone wanted to know about my FIL's plumbing but I do appreciate the cards! So put those return addys on them! Thanks! Each snowflake is unique representing each person of the world that Jesus loves, for whom He came to earth to live and die. The snowman lasts for only a season, and when melted, turns to water, suggesting that we can turn to the Living Water, our Source of Eternal Life. The snowman's existance is a symbol of hope. Its cheerful nature gladdens our spirits. Likewise, when we feel burdened and our hearts are cold, Jesus tells that he is our source of hope, and that the warmth of life can be found in Him. I, too, received my interference acrylics from Chris--very fast service and we liver a LOOOONg way apart! My question has to do with using them. I got a small sheet of suggestions with the paints, but I have only used the dry pigments (Pearl X) and these, of course, are liquid. I like the effects Chris got on the samples she sent, but don't know how she did them. There was a dragon fly and a black cs with lines criss-crossed. Can you tell me exactly what you did to get these looks? Sorry--I need pictures! I ordered a fabrico pad from Ruth and she told me, Okay, but add a little bit more for shipping because I want to send you an extra goodie. She made the cutest grab bag; it's a clear bag with stars of david's all over and then inside it had little bits of paper, a door hanger, a bookmark and some raffia, and to top it off she had her header "Ruth's Jewish Stamps" Clever, and very nicely done! If anyone is interested I would be willing to make a pin using the purple ribbons and having their name on the pin. I am going to make myself one using several loops of various shades of narrow purple ribbon with the ends hanging down like streamers. Then, I'll have the name laminated and placed over the ribbon in the center. If anyone wants me to make them one, let me know. I will have to start on them right away. I would have to have them in the mail back to you by March 7th to be sure you get them in time. All I would need is for you to send a SASE. If you want to pitch in $1 to help cover materials cost, that would be very appreciated.
